What travelers are saying
- skiboywalesFishguard, UK225 contributionsWhat an absolute amazing road trip. If your visiting La Palma this has to be no 1 place to visit. Check the weather out before you go via the La Palma web cams. We went up today and the LP 4 route from Sant Cruz is breathtaking. The route is typical La Palma following the contours of the mountain. The route starts via lush green vegetation then it opens out to pine forest then high mountain ranges. Take your time traveling not to avoid the fantastic view points. You then turn off the LP4 up to the top. Limited parking for around 18 cars but parking can be had near by. Then you walk out to see the unbelievable breath taking views - stunning. Walk forward step by step to see one off the best views in the world (honestly I have travelled across the globe). Admire nature at its best. There is a clue in why the biggest observatories are here!!!! This place is awe inspiring and inspirational. Please take time out here and replenish your soul.Written March 30, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- machinmadYaxley, UK1,991 contributionsWhen strolling along the promenade from the port the views out to sea are spectacular ... but remember to look the other side at the beautiful old buildings, representing the architectural heritage of the Island.
Very quaint and picturesque.Written February 2, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Isko KHelsinki, Finland76 contributionsMemorable and friendly colonial era street, originally drafted by the bright Cremonan engineer Leonardo Torriani back in the 16th century. This southern half of Santa Cruz's High Street is named after one of the town's most well remembered local improvers, Sr.D. O'Daly, who made a mark on making the town grand and democratic in the 18th century. The street is exclusively pedestrian, and starts on the now-restored "Nitrato de Chile" ceramic poster, continuing nortwards. Numerous well-supplying shops are lined up and offer a historic and also a romantic walk. Awesome architecture is abundant, that would obviously be superb to see when guided by a local expert.Written April 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Argiris CKárpathos, Greece51 contributionsWe did the root with mountain bikes, the views are fantastic and the landscape is amazing, if the weather is good you can even see Tenerife!Written December 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TurboluumuHelsinki, Finland114 contributionsReally good day at Tazacorte beach. Showers and nice restaurants with easy access. The few shops are quite expensive if you forget your beach day equipment but you'll find necessities. The restaurants serve menu of the day (menu del dia) which is good at lunchtime and includes a drink also.Written March 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- verhorPrague, Czech Republic12 contributionsThis was one of the most beautiful experiences in my life so far. The road to the top is long and quite challenging sometimes, but it's totally worth it! The view is absolutely amazing. I would recommend to go there just before the sunset.Written June 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

The city centre has lots of beautiful buildings, some of which have balconies. The Maritime Museum is in a ship and there are some interesting statues dotted about the place.Written December 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- r0landbrunnerZurich, Switzerland1,716 contributionsthere is a signed roundwalk with information about the whole procedure to make the salt, and even if the production only starts in spring, you can also in winter see the basins filled with water, changing colors by the percentage of salt (concentration). it took us about an hour to wonder around and we really enjoyed, also the views around beyond the salt fields.Written January 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Graeme BLos Cristianos, Spain19,759 contributionsAlthough Temporarily Closed, this attraction is still worth a visit.
To see a massive sailing ship sitting on the side of the road is amazing in itself.
If the inside is anything as good as the outside, then it's definitely another attraction well worth another visit.Written July 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - cnomisChorley, UK492 contributionsour second visit here, the first time we walked to it having had the walk as a little strenuous and to us it was much more than that so this time we took a taxi there and walked back we could have taken the local bus no 33 but as it was Sunday we werent too sure how they were running, but the church is beautiful, stunning chandeliers, extremely ornate worth a visitWritten January 29, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- skiboywalesFishguard, UK225 contributionsVisited here today. Hired a car a drive up. You have to book a parking slot before hand. Fantastic views and nice walks. - edwinpvAmersfoort, The Netherlands51 contributionsThis is a small kind of park in an uninspring surrounding. The plants, the mosaic in the floor, the wall of plants, the sculptures and mosaic seats make a nice combination. Yo can see everything in a few minutes, but it also a nice place to relax.Written August 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
