Really enjoyed the visit to the park. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been. Its not expensive and rhe parking is free and just outside the park. We had a quick meal there and were there for around 2 hours. It has quite a few animals to see for a site that isn't on the huge side, it wasn't too busy but was hard to see the crocs being fed until we moved on and saw it from a spot above where people stood to see it.

Love walking? Then this place is for you, kms long beach and pedestrian path to walk on with plenty of restaurants, coffee places and bars. Attention: even if you plan to walk fully dressed make sure to apply sun cream on the parts of the body that are not covered!

A natural beautifully landscaped park in the end of the valley not far away from Maspalomasa. Good bus connection and taxi services are available. The park is tidy and clean. Particularly interesting is the show of feeding and flying wild birds. Worth a look, especially on a not-too-sunny day.

A beautiful area near Maspalomas, next to the dunes is the old Lagoon that's full of wildlife including Desert fox and Herons

Lovely views on all sides of the mountain, Great experience! But there are very windy and narrow roads on the way up.

I recommend you to come early to have a place to park your car. Hike is pretty easy, to get to the rocks and back under an hour and a half.

This is a lovely beach and the dunes are beautiful. Didn’t go into a lot of the shops but the ones we did were good (more clothes shopping than anything else). The Pingüino Soul cafe on the boulevard is lovely - really nice pastries, ice cream and smoothies; you can takeaway and the staff are kind and helpful.

Confusing system with the sunbeds - not sure how to rent those and there don’t seem to be signs anywhere?

Please be warned that if you burn easily - or even don’t - that the sand can be VERY hot, to the point of burning skin off your feet (speaking from experience). Definitely wear shoes, even if they’re trainers. There are places to buy sandals near the beach also if you don’t have them.

Bus station and taxi stands nearby which is good.

Food was good but rooms starting to look a bit dated.
Very nice beach but noisy around the pools.
The. Swim up bar was just a big toilet full of people who couldn’t handle their drink.
There where plenty drinking but no one was getting out for a pee

If you are an architecture lover make sure to stop by. So many beautiful buildings to see and take photos of. Not sure if I can call it this way but I would say the streets hold a very nice hystoric vibe and you will simply enjoy it.

Visited this beautiful village for a morning trip. Unbelievably pretty with charming avenues and wonderful and hospitable people. Lovely cafes and restaurants. It is called Venice of Gran Canaria for obvious reasons. Highly recommended for a short stay.

The beautiful and very modern Mogan Mall is located near Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria and has around 50 shops. It offers free parking spaces in the associated large parking garage as well as a good selection of different shops of all kinds. Everywhere you can find very clean seating areas and a very nice food area with many good restaurants and cafes. In the evening there is a beautiful light fountain show with music. Mogan Mall is absolutely worth a visit!!

This was the highlight of our trip to Gran Canaria! The hike was of moderate difficulty, but the great views make up for the painful legs and sweat, as well as the beautiful beach. We were hesitant about visiting the beach after we read the bad reviews, but we don’t regret it at all! If you are fit and are looking for an active adventure don’t miss out on this gem.

Not many interesting shops or restuarant, but the Spar shop is great. It has a huge selection, even of norwegian groceries.

So under-rated … well worth a visit and a break from the beach!

The entry free is about €20 and a free bus collects you from your resort …

This isn’t really ‘sold’ on the seafront like the expensive boat trips so we weren’t expecting much.

We were surprised, the action started as soon as our bus pulled into the car park. Shows entertained us all day, an announcement would be made on the tannoy to say where next show would take place.

We visited on a Wednesday it was pretty quiet, I think they change it up a bit on weekends and the BBQ is only served at busier times but the food and drinks were reasonable and your order is taken as you wait for the illusionist show.

Everybody was given the chance to be involved - but then as I said it was quiet so can’t comment on busier times!

    The actors were all Brilliant.

    Well done to them all
