Didi made this visit for us. We decided to visit on a dusty overcast day but our exp reindeer here made it sunshine all the way. Didi who is from Belgium gave us a demonstration that appeared to us like it was just for us and very individual. We timed it right to watch them filleting the Aloe plant leaves which looked just like fish fillets. Didi explained all the process and about the history of this plant. This place is free to visit, all the staff we met were so very friendly and although you are in their shop there was no pressure or hard sell to buy any of the many aloe products. We did though end up buying and my wife is very pleased with her purchases and the special little gifts also put into our bag to take away. We spent nearly two hours there walking round the aloe field and generally mooching about. Thank you all for your hospitality and especially Didi (who does not listen or read about the news)

Absolutely stunning and vast with the softest and finest sand I have ever walked on. Absolutely sublime and breathtaking in several parts. Feels like a paradise all of its own.If you come to Corralejo you MUST experience this place...simply stunning !!

Just tropical and beautiful this beach. The sand is crispy white. Ocean is light blue turquoise. The deeper you go into the ocean, the more deep blue the water is. Dunes behind. Restaurants around. Ocean water is quiet.

Amazing out of this world place ! So gorgeous, and definitely worth the trip! The road to the beach is allright, a bit bumpy at times , with a 4x4 it’s perfectly doable! At some point the road is quiet small, I am afraid of heights and it sometimes was a challange!

We visited Lobos island via a water taxi, what a beautiful island, doesn’t take too long to get round the entire island, but so wish I had more time to spend there, the scenery was amazing, the island is stunning and the water crystal clear, so many different sides to the island and the scenery from the top of Montaña La Caldera……. Amazing

Another beautiful beach area on the walk to Atlantico centre, sun beds to hire and parasols to sunbath under. Lifeguards on duty, flags on display to alert you to the swimming conditions. More popular than Playa del Castillo , its got better sand here, not man made,

Beautiful massive sandy beach. Shallow for children to paddle. Toilet facilities not great. Very clean and tidy.

Friday 13th November we were on our way to visit Aguas Verde and the road signs took us to Playa del Valle. It is here that we parked our car and took the cliff pathway along the coast to see the pools.

There journey from our hotel, Riu Palace Tres Islads, to here was 50 kilometres, mostly on very good roads, apart from the last few hundred metres which was on an unsurfaced road.

Oh my word what an experience, the sound of the Atlantic Ocean pounding the lava coastline, the salty spray rising up and the colour of the water. The raw force of nature at work and it's best. We did not encounter another person as we walked along the coast.

It was difficult to know when to stop and turn back as around the next corner was a sight as wonderful as the previous one.

The shapes and formations of lava were absolutely astounding. The various coloured layers of rocks was fascinating and so eye catching.

Large holes created in the lava, filled with bright green water, hence the name of the place "Green Pools".

Probably the only shopping mall on Fuerteventura. It comprises of two floors. Main floor comprises of about about a dozen stores including EuroSpar which sells everything a home needs. There is also a small cafeteria which gives a decent cuppa with assortment of patisseries at a very good price.
The main level also has a hairdresser shop if you need a snip. Mobile phone shop, sports and designer shops can also be found here. If you’re looking for a store selling console games or electronics you won’t find it here.
Lower level caters for toilets cafes, indian restaurant and Yelmo cinema with a bowling alley and small arcade/play center for children.
The cinema was disappointing during my stay as they seem to only show movies in Spanish language. Apparently they do show movies with original English language not when we were here sadly.
Lower level leads to the car park and out towards the beach and water feature which needs a good clean.

Right after the viewpoint with the statues, one turns right and goes up a hill towards what used to be a very nice meeting place with infra-structure, along with a majestic view.
The venue itself is closed but nothing prevents one from going up, being only careful with the access, which closes at 18h.

Just a quick drive after El Cotillo beach on a corrugated offroad path, this infamous beach, took my breath away. Rugged cliffs, wild beach and a jaw dropping steep path felt like going down to paradise. Stay for sunset and you might be lucky enough to have the beach all by yourself. There is no real signs for Escalera, so watch out for other cars parked near the cliffs.

Thursdsy 12th November and we drove the  11 kilometres from Tefia to visit this remote village and its beach.

Just keep following the twisty road, will eventually get there as the road comes to an end at Puertido de Los Molinos. We parked up in the car park, bar / restaurant Casa Pon nearby, we then walked towards the beach.

We crossed over a small wooden bridge, which spaned Barranco de los Molinos (ravine of Los Molinos) and its very narrow river. There were a number of unusual ducks here, more like turkeys. The bridge was definitely the newest structure here by a good number of years.

There were a few buildings here, we assumed were fishermen's house, which had withstood many a battering from the elements throughout the decades, if not longer.

We walked up the steps on the left hand side of the beach. These were carved into the rock face, which took us to a small pathway which led us across the wild and rugged coastline. It was an opportunity to see the dramatic terrain with the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crashing upon it.

There was another pathway, up to the cliffs, on the right hand side of the beach, it can be found behind the restaurant by the car park, we did not venture up there.

The beach which stretches for about 200 metres along the coast is located in a rocky bay flanked on either side by sheer cliffs and a mountainous terrain behind it. Towards the waters edge the sand is dark golden brown. However the rest of the beach is cover with large rounded stones which are difficult to walk on, definitely not flip flop territory.

There are no sunbeds, umbrellas, showers, toilets or sports area here. There are a couple of restaurants, when open, and some bins, that is virtually it.

An ideal spot to escape from modern life, no phone signals, basically a place to unwind, relax, stroll along the beach or the cliffs.

We were hoping to visit the caves but we were unable to to so due to the height of the tide.

Despite not being able to visit the caves it was well worth a visit to enjoy the raw beauty and tranquility of the place.

Beautiful beach’s on both sides of the resort, lots of good restaurants with the freshest fish you will ever taste. It is a little sleepy but for me that just adds to the charm.
