What a fabulous experience. The menu was varied, from tapas to starter to paella, followed by crema Catalan. Vivian was a very good instructor, encouraging me to try new techniques and expanding my knowledge. We ate as we prepared, and had the Spanish Tortilla and Paella to wind up our experience. I highly recommend this cooking class.
What a fabulous way to spend 3 hours in Palma. Great food, lovely people and good wine flowing throughout made this Mallorcan/Peruvian cooking lesson absolutely brilliant. There were just 6 of us in the group, giving us all a chance to learn new skills in the kitchen. Recipes were pretty simple and easy to replicate at home, but the flavour was so good. Wine was constantly topped up throughout our time, but other drinks including coffee were also offered.
Paola was lovely and the day was wonderful. She skillfully guided us through a relaxed preparation of a lovely meal. We were a mix of skill levels and ages and we were very comfortable throughout! Paola was extremely knowledgeable and lovely and we learnt a lot- about Mallorican cuisine, the island and history, and how to cut an artichoke. The recipes are ones I will cook at home!
