- Annette BLondon, England, United Kingdom125 contributionsThis stunning Cathedral, steeped in history, with the most amazing windows, flooding the whole interior with shards of colour! Loved it. Weird modern bit at one end, but ignore that and head into the little chapel full of crests!!!Written January 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ramona TSzombathely, Hungary133 contributionsWe went to Alcúdia on 24 December, best period of the year for hiking, and having less tourist, with beautiful weather, 20 C.
THe streets were nearly empty, everyone preparing for Christmas, so we could walk around and soak in Medieval history: narrow streets, lovely houses, small shops.
We found only one restaurant open, an Italian, we had a wonderful meal there.
Stroll around, get lost, explore what it could be like, many years ago.
Definitely worth the experience!Written January 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It is stunning and the concert is lovely but does feel you're being herded a bit to get to the end. It also gets really busy so definitely better to book ahead.Written November 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mick2 contributionsBeach was quiet plenty of beds but not cheap, beach great for sunbathing and swimming and plenty of roomWritten November 7, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- saronicZurich, Switzerland25,663 contributionsThe Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was a main reason for me to visit Mallorca, especially for the hikes that can be done here. There were good bus connections from Palma, so I could start at one point and get picked up at another. In mid-December with fantastic weather I was mostly by myself.
There are plenty of beautiful footpaths, often a bit stony as usual in the Mediterranean. One walks through pine forests, past olive groves and around Soller it is full of citrus trees. Everywhere one can see the agricultural terraces built of stone, and encounters fincas and hamlets with traditional architecture. There are views of mountain peaks, like the Puig Major, or of a rugged coastline. Several compact villages offer themselves for separate visits like Valldemossa, Deia, Soller, Fornalutx, Biniaraix or Pollença.Written November 9, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. On a 'passport' you buy you get x10 entries to use on a variety of attractions. We did the main House first, which was a funWritten September 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Peter BSolihull, UK349 contributionsSection 1 or 2 were absolutely amazing and the whole place is very well looked after. The rest felt a little underwhelming in types and quality of fish once you’ve seen such a delightful range. Overall still good value for money!Written December 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Annette BLondon, England, United Kingdom125 contributionsThe staff are a bit miserable, the whole museum bit is a bit stale, but the views!! Don't miss it!! Walk around the park ...just wonderful.Written January 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- baileyhawkeHolmfirth, UK332 contributionsWe went to the beach at 10am (given reviews) and found a large car park and a great spot by the sea absolutely fine.
Two hours later the beach was really busy and the queues for food were massive. Take your own although there is a food place there.
The sea was clear and warm and very shallow for a long way. Great for little kids to play in and snorkel.
I would recommend this beach but only if you’re prepared to get there early or after 5pmWritten September 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great to show the children what the island looks like and experience the views from up high in the mountains.
We booked this trip via Jet2 excursions and were picked up from our hotel in an open top bus. The bus winds through Pollenca town and up the steep road into the mountains. This takes approx half an hour to get to the top and there is a guide explaining things to you.
You then have time to experience the amazing views and walk along the path to Cap de Formentor as you overlook the sea. Perfect place to get a selfie and admire the view.
You then re-join the bus as you go down the mountain to a small beach where we swam and had some time to browse the gift shops and get a drink.
The trip ends with a lovely boat trip back round the bay into Pollenca.
The great thing about this trip is that you are back in time for a late lunch so it does not take up your entire day. It is also great value.Written January 16, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Roberto LLausanne, Switzerland28 contributionsYou get one amazing beach (S’Amarador) and two beautiful calas in one go. There are also nice paths to do some trekking along the coastline and through the woods and countryside.Written September 10, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Littleone88Brighton,England234 contributionsYou book timeslots and are guided around in small groups. This is what makes it better than the caves in Porto Drach as they provide information and history which is really interesting. Guide was great and amazing how they can switch between all the languages!Written November 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sarah TBillericay, UK3 contributionsAhhhh this beach is fantastic, it’s flat to walk , has soft white sand and the water is turquoise and so clean !
There is lots of places to stop and get a cold drink or tea, and walking along the shoreline is a pleasure in the sun.
Really nice beach.Written October 28, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
