First we went to a horse riding farm in Alcudia, which ended up being a disappointment so we decided to give another place a try. We were hesitant about going to another place as we didn’t want the same disappointment but were pleasantly surprised!
The Horses seemed enthusiastic and much happier and more energetic than the Horses at the farm In Alcudia. All seemed well taken care of and had lovely temperaments and didn’t look lifeless like the Horses at the other farm. The farm was very different to in the Uk (which I suppose is expected) but I didn’t see any issues with the Horses living conditions in the brief time I was there.
The owner was SO lovely and polite, made us laugh in the car when he picked us up and dropped us off. Made everyone feel very welcome and made sure to say hello and goodbye to everyone. Water was offered at the end of the trip too which was a nice touch!
We did the 3hr trek, which was beautiful! Lots of opportunities to trot and gallop (although this was a choice) wouldn’t say it is the best trek for complete beginners as Horses are not “riding school” types, they do have a bit of energy about them, or at least the ones we rode did, which was fine for me being experienced. Although, saying that, my boyfriend isn’t experienced as such and managed fine, he loved it!! But he only galloped once. All horses were lovey none the less and didn’t run off with anyone, spook or act up. They ask about your experience beforehand anyway.
Overall great experience and best horse riding place I’ve been too yet!
