- MaryAnne6 contributionsConfirmation and pickup organisation was communicated well. The bus trip out to the caves was unpleasant. The tour guide spoke 5 different languages loudly over the speaker for the entire 1 hour trip on each piece of information he had to give.
I would have preferred to search for a small English only tour instead.
Didn't know what to expect at the caves as once off the bus you join a long queue into the caves as part of a timed entry. There is a lot of people so initially it is very overwhelming at the start of the caves. Starts to thin out a bit as you move further into the cave.
Cave is pretty spectacular with an easy walking track down to the lake.
Here you sit and wait for a classical music and light performance which was well worth the tour. Followed by a short 30m boat trip along the lake.
A quick stop was then made at a pearl shop.
Would definately recommend a visit to the caves.

We were fortunate to have the tour to ourselves (advantage of travelling out of season) and Nils took us to 3 beautiful towns ( Valldemossa, Port de Sóller and Sóller) and 2 stunning viewpoints(the last one was timed to see the sunset). Nils was flexible and gave us as much time as we wanted at each stop. He was knowledgeable about the area and some of its fascinating history. It was a wonderful mixture of beautiful vistas (the mountains), picturesque streets for coffees and shopping, seaside views for enjoying lunch and some time to walk on the beach. There was a marathon in town when we went and 2 Wheel Tours Palma made adjustments to their normal route to get us in and around the marathon to see the sites they would normally do on a tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable. - Leah K1 contributionWe had the most incredible time!! We did this as part of our honeymoon and it was so special, so memorable, and so much fun. We were with a young family and some other couples, it was a really fun and well coming environment. We learned more about Mallorca and got to see some really incredible views. The tapas were also delicious!! They had so many floaties and even fed the fish for us so we got to see some more. You couldn’t find friendlier or funnier hosts. We paid just 10 euros return fare for a punctual minibus collection from close to our hotel in Alcudia Bay. The driver was friendly and good humoured so our trip started well.
The catamaran easily accommodated around 40 passengers and there was plenty of seating inside or out, also on the nets if we wished. The catamaran was steady on the water and we were able to enjoy the truly beautiful scenery.
The crew were welcoming and helpful throughout the trip. There was a short commentary on places of interest along the route.
At the first stop we were able to swim, paddleboard and snorkel using equipment provided on the boat. Less able swimmers, including children, were offered the option of toggles and life jackets. Never having swum in deep water before I took the opportunity to do so. It was a wonderful experience in such a majestic setting.
At the next beautiful cove we had one hour to explore, wade, swim and relax on the beach before enjoying a tasty lunch with a choice of drinks. There was also reasonably priced soft drinks, coffee, tea and alcohol on board.
We had a final stop in another lovely cove, where we were once again given the opportunity to swim and use the equipment or to relax on board before heading back to the port.
I would not hesitate in recommending this trip, it was a lovely experience in a friendly environment.
