What travelers are saying
- BaxterNYC10011Los Angeles, CA36 contributionsThis beach is not to be missed. Pristine crystal clear water and bright blue sky. We arrived at noon on a scooter and the parking lot for cars was already full. Additionally, the few sun loungers available for rent were already spoken for, so either go early if you want a sun lounger and umbrella, or bring your own umbrella if you want some shade. Entrance for scooters was € 3 euros during the days we were there. Cash or Apple Pay accepted. No public restrooms, but it was possible to use ones at the restaurant Es Ministre all the way at the end of the road where we parked. Although more crowded than other beaches on the island, it was not unpleasantly so.Written June 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We stayed at a hotel on this beach. We were located about in the middle.
Facing the water, to the right it was narrower and more rocky. It was also less dense with beachgoers.
To the left I was wider, with better sand and fewer rocks, but it also had more people.
There is a walkway that runs the length of the beach. Some of it is sand and some of it is raised planks. This makes it very accessible.
There are bars and restaurants scattered along its length and they are accessible from the walkway.Written August 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. If you have the means do not skip this experience. It is like being in the Caribbean but in Mediterranean. White sand beaches and crystal clear water. One of the best day trips I have ever taken.Written August 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- phat_dawg_21Alpharetta, GA16,948 contributionsThis was the nicest part of Platja de Migjorn. The sand was soft, and there were enough rocks to make it visually interesting. Unfortunately, it was also the most crowded part.Written August 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - BexLondon, UK29 contributionsTrekked here from the main beach, absolutely stunning cove but swarming with people, many of them going party people, and so tiny that there is no where to sit other than rocks and the fishing boat structures. Go here for a phot in the early am before everyone else but it’ll your looking for a serene quiet cove this is not for you.Written August 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - swisselepinLugano, Switzerland155 contributionsAmazing food in a very isolated area mostly for locals. The food portions are huge and very tasty average price for the area.Written June 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SootyNottsNotts115 contributionsLovely resort with a lovely sandy beach and a nice selection of bars and restaurants.
The prices are more reasonable than those in Ses Illettes.Written September 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The sand is beautiful and soft and the rock formations that make up the cove are really interesting. The only downside is the beach is very busy with boat trips mooring up for the day there - including some of the booze cruises. That said, there are 2 restaurants, a snack bar and a mini supermarket to ensure you have everything you need. We travelled by bicycle - definitely recommend a visit.Written June 8, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Our taxi dropped us here, so we settled on this beach first. We enjoyed the soft sand and clear water, but it quickly got pretty crowded. That is when we moved to Illetes for more space.
There were a steady stream of vendors selling inexpensive beer, water, and sandwiches.Written August 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Usual Ibiza beach bars but plenty of cheaper options for refreshment sold on the beach or the Small supermarket at the west end. Lovely clear water.Written August 3, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Thomas VOakland, CA17,489 contributionsThis is a remote part of the island and it takes some time to get here from the port at La Savina. The beach here is beautiful and definitely not crowded.Written October 11, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thomas VOakland, CA17,489 contributionsThis is one of the very nice beaches near the El Puljos area where there are a lot of hotels and places to stay. Folks stay in these resorts and bike or walk to this beach for the day, and then go back to the hotel.Written October 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
