What a fantastic way to spend a cloudy Saturday afternoon or even a sunny one! Such a variety of stalls, tapas bars. Locals doing their shopping, people watching.....the list goes on. Just great to go from one stand to another sampling the tapas with a wee drink at each . Very easy to forget what time of the day it is.

The outside market is beautiful, a lot of shops. I recommend to visit it after 20 due to the heat. As it usually happens in these kind of places, the products are overpriced, however, the visit is worth. Essential in Ibiza.

Until this year, we had generally walked past this historc fish market after midday when it was closed. The fresh fish market still trades most days from early morning to about midday, but since our last visit to Menorca in 2019, it has been transformed.

A section of the market has been converted into a series of small businesses producing a very large selection of Tapas and similar varieties of tasty bites of food from fish, meat, vegetarain, savoury and sweet desserts. In addition, there are two or three businesses in the same complex offering all manner of drinks.

With tables available inside or outside as well as on the street just outside the Fish Market entrance, it was the liveliest venue for this style of eating and drining in the main part of the city above the Port.

As we were sampling this venue for the very first time in September 2022, we do not know how long it has been operating, but comparing to when we were last in Mahon 3 years ago, it is clear that this establishment is thriving and possibly at the expenses of many of the existing Tapas and Snack Bars in the shopping area - many of them were empty so it is debatable whether this new enterprise has captured a lot of the available trade.

It is defintely not to be missed, a huge variety of food at verty reasonable cost.

Very big and nice market with lots of interesting things to see, taste and buy. Great place to shop for local products to take home. Besides the market there are a lot of nice places for breakfast or lunch. the only downside are the big crowds.

We got a bus from Cala Millor for the morning. Timing was great 9.30 pick up and leave at 1. Market is very large and when you think its done there is loads more just keep exploring. Very pretty town with lots little passageways and streets to explore.

My partner and I went to the Alcudia market on Tuesday morning after hearing about it from the hotel staff and holiday reps. The market is on in the old town on Sunday and Tuesday mornings from around 8am-1:30pm. It is around a 40 minute walk from the new town or a 10 minute taxi ride (which cost us around 8/9€. The market has lots and lots of stalls selling clothing, food and fresh fruit, handbags, jewellery, plans and flowers and more. You can get some bargains if you barter but a lot of it, especially the clothes and jewellery, are overpriced and can be bought cheaper from the shops on the strip. Overall it is a nice, wholesome atmosphere, where you feel relaxed and content. It is expensive and there wasn’t anything of interest to us. We are glad we visited but wouldn’t go again.

Very large market. Nice shops too. Visit the leather museum. {Entrance is free of charge).
Inca used to be, number 1 in leather products, like shoes and bags.
Only Thursday. Be there early. It's finished at 14:00

A lovely way to wind a way a few hours on a friday morning. The market meanders along the prom from the start of the harbour point and finishes near the square around the far side of the beach. The market has plenty of different things to buy much like an artisian market where you can haggle with some but not all stall holders

We have found that the street markets of Majorca are somewhat smaller, and perhaps less frequented that we have seen over our many years visiting the island. The market at Andratx is still a very good one, though i think it is less grand than it has been. It is nevertheless still one of the better markets on the island. Yes, the goods on offer are still the same, but there is a good feeling about traipsing through the streets, while browsing the stalls. Its all the usual fare on offer, with some fruit and veg stalls thrown in. Just being in this beautiful little town in itself is quite relaxing. We visit the market just about every time we are on the island, and i haven't encountered anything on this visit that will stop me coming back. Good value items for sale, amongst the usual tatt, but be sure to haggle on the price, its part of the fun.

The Hippy Markets are fun to go to for a few hours. It’s mostly the same stuff (junk really) and amusing but relaxing. Worth a spin.

My friend and I went to the Sunday market twice during my two week visit. What an assortment of treasures, according to one's interests. If I had been at home and not travelling with a 22" suitcase I could have found many items to love. The linen clothes, which I saw people wearing all over Mallorca were really well priced. I loved the architectural doors - how I would love to be able to repurpose some of those. There were vendors with a few assorted items for sale and others with unique artisan items made from wood. The smells of those vendors cooking meats were alluring but we ate at the little cafe by the beginning of the market. We really enjoyed ourselves. I thought the prices were often fair, the items eclectic, and there was readily available parking for 1 euro. Bring comfortable walking shoes and a umbrella for those too sunny days!

Great place for a Majorcan mooch! Everything from bags to candy and all the shmooky jewellery you can feast on in between.
Poured today but kind of authentic taking shelter under the canopies with the vendors
