Although the weather wasn't too good during the two days I stayed in Gijon, it was still a pleasure to stroll along this wide beach, the ocean is quite powerful here, mighty waves rolling in...a long pedestrian promenade runs alongside the beach, really nice!

Beautiful and breathtaking views, you should come here if you are in Gijon on a sunny day. It is a bit far out from the city, you need a bus or a car.

Beautiful viewing point located so close to the Old Town, I could easily walk there, it was so fast and worth it! Simply beautiful! If you stand in the middle, locals told me you can hear the sea very well. It is a must do when in Gijon! Dont miss it.

We spent two hours on a rainy day here. Very nice effort, and a good value for 13 EUROS. (Compare with 28 USD at the Boston aquarium). Good exhibits, well kept and clean. Signs in English and Spanish.

Be advised that there is no easy parking close by. We parked in an uncovered, unpaved lot and walked about 6 blocks.

Comment: There is much educational material about pollution in the ocean, especially regarding discarded plastics. It is ironic, therefore that the gift shop has almost exclusively small crappy plastic toys and tourist mementos that will be broken immediately and discarded. Where? Please be more considerate when considering what to sell on your own premises.

Comment: Although we didn’t eat at the restaurant on the top floor, we went up and looked around. Nice balcony seating. Food smelled good, and for once it wasn’t the usual hot dogs and hamburgers. There was hot Spanish paella, for goodness sake, and the diners looked happy. Consider yourselves lucky, aquarium goers.

Gorgeous nature, a bit hilly but unforgettable view (best if you go early in the morning or close to sunset).

Stunningly beautiful, easy to drive to, fantastic restaurant to visit with delicious fresh food.(very busy). Cloudy on the day visited but warm. Snorkelling, swimming or just lazing around as beach lovely. Lifeguard on duty as there are rocks to explore in the sea

I was impressed by the force of this sculpture, which certainly makes you imagine the feelings of a mother seeing her children leave. Aesthetically valuable - as much as the walk along the seafront to get there.

They are strange bedfellows, but why not - the industrial port of Gijon with its heaps of coal, oil and gas tanks, overlooked by La Campa Torres Archaeological-Natural Park with its natural habitat, remains of Roman villas and the earlier Asturias hilltop fort, with its museum in an old military wartime bunker.

It was an interesting introduction to the city, spanning many thousand years, with friendly and helpful staff.

We had lots of fun with many differnt riddles and rooms. We received the right amount of clues during the game and we were able to play in English which was very helpful.

We were looking for something different to do as a family, while in Gijon for the day visiting from England.
The lady who looked after us and explained everything to us in English was great.
It is a tricky game which we nearly solved in the hour.
Brilliant entertainment with a touch of a Sherlock Holmes feel about it. We would strongly recommend it.

In June my cousin, her friend and I went up, up and away over the Asturian countryside.
Efrén is a very capable and kind captain. His associate, Cristina, was helpful, strong and delightful. While there wasn't much wind, we still managed to get up and see the beautiful countryside. Such a relaxing adventure and we are all glad we did it.

Great company, focused on safety and still lots of fun! English and Spanish speaking host.

What a great experience to close out our holiday in Asturias.
