I was there twice -- once in the middle of the day with lots of people around, and another time early in the morning to watch sunrise. The plaza was beautiful. I would highly recommend going there for the sunrise -- you would have the whole place to admire by yourself.

I highly recommend the guided tour from the Catedral de Sevilla official website. The ticket is almost similar to the entrance fee and it’s absolutely worth it. There are limited tickets per day, so make sure you book in advance! You’ll also access to places where the public aren’t able to enter. Our tour guide was Felix and it was fascinating to hear the history and details of Catedral de Sevilla and Spain too! It really was one of the highlights of my first trip to Seville. The tour takes about 90 mins and then you are free to walk around and also go up the Giralda tower. Highly recommend! Also, if you decide to do the tour, there’s a different entrance with no wait time!

A very cute ,and quaint with its narrow streets ,and vibrant atmosphere. The shops I visited were really nice and salespeople were helpful and friendly but not pushy. I loved the area and we visited every night while here.

This park is adjacent to Plaza de Espana. It is a nice park with lots of shade. Watch out for the horse drawn carriages making their way around. It is a nice park but not spectacular

It was very difficult to get tickets. So plan early. It was a must visit -- the view was incredible up on the tower and the cathedral itself was full of treasures and history.

This iconic building hides two wonderful other attractions, that are not well advertised. The Setas itself is interesting. You can walk across the top on a walkway that is almost like a roller coaster. NB it gets very slippery in the rain! The views are good, but not that stunning. The Experience is basically a drone swooping round the structure, with some flamenco dancing included and, for some totally unknown reason, a white horse galloping through a Baroque room. There is no audio. Oh yes, the lift reminded me of Dr Who's Tardis. Down stairs however is a brilliant market and on the very bottom level,a wonderful preserved section of roman Seville to roam around. The bit I found most interesting is the saltfish factory, together with the recovered bones/scales of the fish they used, which have been identified. The saddest find must be the baby buried in an old amphora. It's free to get in and well worth aa visit.

Beautiful place to visit, amazing tile work around the various patios and courtyards, lovely gardens. Definitely worth a visit along with the Real Alcazar, and the local barrios around Casa de Pilatos are really interesting to walk through as well with narrow streets and beautiful architecture. We walked directly from Casa de Pilatos to the Setas de Seville, so you can do both in one trip/walk. We were unclear about the advertised "free Mondays" at Casa de Pilatos which turns out is only available to EU citizens, so don't go on a Monday if you don't have EU credentials. The place was packed with people looking for free entry, and many people were turned away for not having EU credentials, including ourselves. This restriction is poorly advertised by both the facility and local social media influencers, so beware. Otherwise, it seems you can get into this place most days without an advance reservation, although you may need a timed reservation to see the "by tour" second floor. Although I did not interact with many staff at this facility on the Wednesday we returned for a visit, one woman who was working in the gift shop on November 13 at 13:08 was particularly rude and could not be bothered to crack a smile, say gracias/de nada, or actually say anything at all. It's pretty bad when you are patronizing a foundation by purchasing products, and the cashier acts like she's doing you a favor. Everyone I met in Spain was so nice, so this one rude person really stands out from the whole trip. I hope the facility will consider giving her some training in customer service.

Centro Historico De Sevilla is an absolutely amazing area of this most famous and beautiful of Spanish city's to visit.
Architectural styles abound throughout the historic centre, Mudéjar, Renaissance, Baroque, Gothic, Neoclassical, its just an area packed with amazing looking buildings ,standouts are Sevilla Cathedral, Alcazar and Archivo De Indias but there's just so many beautiful buildings here ,its hard to say which is the most beautiful, I love wandering around the winding streets packed with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and flamenco taverns which are the beating heart of the historic centre, its a major tourist destination, atmosphere here is always vibrant, its a must go destination if you're planning a holiday to Seville.

Lovely area, worth visiting, although most places would not let us sit outside for a drink, drink inside only and food and drink outside! Had to take the underground to another area to have drinks outside

Not essential but if you have more time to explore the lesser known attractions in Seville (i.e longer than a 2 day visit) then to consider this one. Its a fairly traditional art gallery with exceptional pieces in the gothic and baroque styles from Seville and Andalucia. It is nicely laid out with a clear route through the gallery, and doesn't take too long, around an hour.

Jardines de los Reales Alcázares is an absolute gem in the heart of Seville. The beautifully ornate buildings, with intricate Moorish and Gothic influences, are breathtaking, and the splendidly manicured gardens provide a peaceful escape from the city’s bustle. Every corner reveals something magical—hidden courtyards, serene fountains, and an array of colorful flowers.

Booking a time slot online is highly recommended to avoid long queues and potential disappointment. The gardens also offer a lovely refreshment spot where you can relax while enjoying the company of resident peacocks and ducks, which add a charming touch to the experience.

Whether you’re a history lover, architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for a serene place to unwind, the Alcázar and its gardens are not to be missed. Highly recommend!

An extraordinarily impressive artistic achievement. For those who want to learn about the history of the site, there is plenty of information in both English and Spanish around the church regarding the exhibits.

Outside the main area of the church, there is a miniature museum of works of religious art and artifacts discovered in Seville that date back hundreds of years. Underneath the church, an exhibit of archeological importance highlights that the site of the church has been sacred ground since Roman times.
