Amazing museum. Boys (6yo &12yo) loved it.
Lots of fun. Smiles, joy and happy faces all around. Rarity nowadays.
Book in advance not to wait.
    Enjoyable 1 hour spent

One of the most beautiful palaces in Sevilla. The upper floor can be visite only by means of a guided tour in Spanish or English. I took the tour in English and our guide Lucia was incredibly good, making our visit even more interesting thanks to the info she gave the whole group.
Only downside is the no-photo policy on the upper floor, which does not make any sense in this time and age.
Not to be missed if you're in town.

Interesting historic building in the Santa Cruz district of Seville. Audio guide included in the ticket price was just about the right length. Pleasant visit. Not suitable for those who cannot manage steps and stairs.

We were glad we crossed the bridge into Triana to visit the ceramics museum. You can enter for free if you have your tickets from Alcazar, although not sure how soon after your Alcazar visit you would need to get here. We paid the regular entrance of €2.20 per head which was well worth it. You'll start by enjoying the downstairs where you can see the old kilns and read about them. Upstairs showcases some beautiful pieces, including an incredible tiled screen with birds, pottery, and advertisements on tiles. This was an interesting visit and we would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in ceramics.

For just €3 this is a great place to spend an hour & learn about biodiversity with the region of Andalusia proudly boasting the most biodiversity with Europe.
The Antarctic exhibition is very engaging also with a great diorama showing the Gabriel de Castilla base that was inaugurated in 1990.
The main temporary exhibition is currently dedicated to crystals & minerals; providing extensive indepth detail.

Small museum detailing Seville's rich history with well preserved artifacts including mosiacs from the 2nd and 3rd century. Takes around 10 to 20mins to view everything. Entry is included with Royal Alcazar otherwise it is just €2.10.

We headed for the Museum of the Inquisition sited in San Jorge Castillo. Sadly it was closed for ‘renovation’. We were very disappointed but compensated by finding the Triana market and then by a young lady staffing the tourist information desk.

She was a treasure, a gift and we spent ages discussing current events and other topics. She was going to the TI booth near the bullring later that afternoon and said please come. We couldn’t because one of us has breathing problems. If you read this, please tell her we remember her. We really enjoyed her company…and excellent English!

Btw, I love history but despise religious fanatics. I wanted to see how the Inquisition is depicted in Seville.

Excellent flamenco performance. The dancers looked more experienced than ones at another (excellent) performance I saw elsewhere, but with a bit less improvisation. I wish photos were allowed at the end of the performance. Location was tricky for me to find with just an offline map and no wifi (heads up if you didn't buy a data plan).

The video at the beginning which showed different flamenco styles was the most useful part of the museum. But aside from a few costumes and some nice artwork on the upper floor, the museum part is not worth spending more money. The museum wifi did not work well for me so I was unable to see the QR delivered other musuem materials.

Authentic instrumental guitar, singing, and, of course, flamenco at this small theater space. Each performance was done with passion and joy, as if the cast was doing it for the first time. A must see.

An imposing Palace from the Renaissance era, it is impressive not only due to its own architectural attributes, but more so as the host of expositions of Mudéjar art.

A pleasant tranquil space has a grand patio courtyard bordered by columns and arches. Neat rows of greenery rest in the centre.

While not overly extensive, the artefacts are nonetheless interesting. Exemplifying the craft of the Muslims who remained in the area after the Christian Reconquista, it is a valuable record of this exceptional heritage.

We had a wonderful time at this museum. We weren't expecting it to be so much fun. It has a beautiful layout and focuses on historical stories and models rather than artefacts. There were many interactive exhibits to trigger the stories which was fun. Emilio P. took so much time and care showing us how the exhibits work and also giving us real insight into the history and culture of Seville. We felt so welcome - and his English was amazing. To finish with a gorgeous view from the tour and great fun walking down the spiral - was well worth a trip!

We found it by accident, behind a market and we gave it a try. The only wow factor is the part that explains the different styles of ceilings and the skills required for those Spanish masterpieces.

The fact those carriages are not too many but are beautiful and in good state of conservation, gives us time to look at them in details. So I would have been very interested with more explanations, some more panels, and not one forgotten as I could see.
It is so far from our habits nowadays, but in the same time so close to us in the time, that I would like to learn about all practices and attainments;, learn more names and know more what every cart or carriage is intended to.
Anyhaw, this museum is worth a detour, and deserves to be visited.
