We loved this historic monument. Beautiful to see, very interesting architecture, and great views of Malaga. I also loved the gardens and how the plant life was interspersed with the buildings. The building contains ornate tile, stone and plasterwork’s. We spent about 2 hours. Note that there are many stairs, and sections can be steep to climb. Highly recommended!

We go to a LOT of car museums because of my husband’s interest. This one was unique in that it kept my interest too since it incorporated the fashion at the time, the history at the time(ex: WW1, WW2,etc) & movie stars/famous people associated with the cars. Really cool twist on a car museum.

The signage is in Spanish & English (see my pic) & the bathrooms were very clean.

We spent 1hr20 min here. There is a small vending (coffee, sodas & snacks) next to the gift shop AND there is a room with books & chairs to rest/wait.

From the center we took the Metro red line 1 stop & then transferred to the blue line for 3 stops (1.35€ each way), so easy to get to.

Out of season so no queues for us.
Interesting gallery and exhibition with a dance on one exhibit performed at 5pm

Interesting way to spend a few hours and see some important art work that certainly gets you thinking… as art does.

This museum is quite a find tucked away just off the main shopping area of Malaga. The wonderful and diverse array of decorative glass, glass windows and period furniture is beautifully curated in a gorgeous 18th century house. You can only visit on a guided tour and we were lucky enough to be taken round by the owner of the house and all the pieces on display. Great value at 7 euros (5 for seniors) for a 90 minute tour that was informative yet fun .

The games were amazing, and they were from all eras, from 1950 to present.

The floors are created in such a way that it takes you through the gaming history as if you were the main character.

It’s a faboulous museum, filled with history that every video game enthusiast have to go through

Ancient humans of Spain’s southern coast area, including Neanderthals, are presented in an accessible way, with excellent English and Spanish descriptions of each piece. Roman section could be improved a bit. Each period is carefully covered and the concept of layers of history comes through well. Worth a visit, including the floor devoted to art which includes a couple of good Picasso paintings and other significant pieces of art.

I was more or less alone during my visit which made it extra special. The building itself is beautiful and the art was worth seeing. I could tell you it was incredibly moving, but each to their own interpretation! Worth it though for a free visit :)

If you are into music and musical instruments go here! There is a fascinating range of string and percussion instruments here with an interesting story of how they have developed over the years. You can try some of the instruments too. An hour was enough for us. With children who are interested in playing musical instruments it would be a wonderful place to go. You cannot try any wind instruments -understandable.

need to catch a bus out of tow to visit (and then we walked back along the waterfront. Part of a converted Tobacco Factory near b in the South. The museum no longer has exhibits from The Hermitage, St Petersburg following the Ukraine war but there is a large private collection of Russian art; a poster exhibition about revolution and post revolution USSR. Also good collection of western artists -Hockney,Warhol

Set in a very old building this museum is well laid out and worth a visit.
Basically it sets out the industries of the area from older times and each room depicts a particular theme, a bit like a small Beamish.
Easy to find and cheap at 4 euros, even less if you are a pensioner.

Lovely museum in the historical heart of Malaga, where Picasso spent his early childhood. Well worth a visit, and at a reasonable price. Recommended for all even if you're not a Picasso fan. Be sure to take a photo as well with Picasso on the bench in the park in front.

What an awesome experience. I'm not aviation fan but overall engineering enthusiast and I wasn't expecting such great experience. We were super lucky for the guide, who took us inside of the planes and even inside of exposition houses. We had bit more than hour before we had to go to airport so we decided to spend it here and we definitely should kept more time for it. Everyone in museum are volunteers and entry is free, but please, remember to make some donation, because the enthusiasm of everyone there was just refreshing. Thank you one more time!

Interesting courtyard of old building former home of Pedro de Meno sculptor of the beautiful wooden church sculptures, although there were no sculptures at the Toro museum the video was about him and his work. The artist Revello de Toro had a comprehensive exhibition of this paintings and pencil drawing on the top floor. Very small shop.
