Don’t even think about booking with any other tour company.
Mohammed and Taiomi treated us like VIPs.
Mohammed picked us up from our VRBO in Malaga and drove us to Tarifa Port, about 2 hours. We arrived early and were first on the boat because Mohammed knows EVERYONE! The first class tickets on the boat were booked by the tour company. Tix included food each way and NA beverages. We were suprised when Mohammed escorted us to the exit to be first off the boat and first through customs.
Once through, Mohammed introduced us to Taiomi, who was our guide in Tangier and speaks 7 languages, along with a cab driver. We had a very spacious van that could fit 7 plus driver.
We drove through town and Taiomi pointed out all the major sites and gave us a thorough history of the area. We stopped where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Then off to ride camels, then a cave (skip the line) and finally the old area of Tangier, called the casbah.
We were escorted through the city for shopping and lunch. The restaurant chosen was traditional Moroccan cuisine with music. The wait staff was incredibly appreciative, attentive and the food was spectacular.
After lunch, we were again escorted to the best store for shopping - jewelry, antiques, hand-made woven rugs, etc.
We then went back to the boat where we were escorted through customs and first on the boat, back in our first class seats with food and drinks.
Again, we were first off the boat, through customs and Mohammed drive us 2 hours back to Malaga.
While on this trip, we worked with Mohammed to book another trip from Malaga to Granada for an overnight.
Johanna picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Granada. She dropped us at our hotel and she went on to her hotel.
In Granada, we went shopping and ate all kinds of great food! We toured the Alhambra and walked the city.
Johanna picked us up the next day from our hotel and we decided to make a stop at Nerja. We had an amazing lunch on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean. Johanna not only treated us like VIPs, but she also is incredibly knowledgeable of Malaga and trilingual.
