The two of us traveled first to Gibraltar, then to Tangier, then back to Seville. The rest on the Gibraltar tour were one-day tours from Seville, so we were on our own after they left for Seville. Luca, our guide at Gibraltar, was very informative. Note: Be ready to walk, a lot, in Gibraltar. After Gibraltar, the transfer to the taxi to the ferry went well, as did the meet at the ferry terminal with the tickets. Make sure that you take notes on when and where you meet people. The entry stamping on the ferry with Moroccan officials was easy. Then a taxi was waiting to take us to the hotel, the driver had our name. Nice hotel, we ordered pizza room service. In the morning, our Moroccan guide, Rachid, met us in the lobby at 1030. We met up with others on a one-day trip from Seville as they got off the ferry. Then we did the sights of Tangier. Rachid was fantastic. We visited Hercules cave, the beach overlook, and a very nice lunch in the casbah. I even rode a camel. Afterwards, we had time for shopping (I recommend leather goods,) then back to the ferry, reverse passport stamping, then board the bus back to Seville, accompanied by a Spanish guide, whose name I did not catch. He was very efficient. Then back to Seville. OK, our guides throughout were very informative and efficient. No foulups, even though we had hit three countries in two days. I would highly recommend taking the two day trip and overnighting in Tangier, even with the extra cost. Doing the Seville-Tangier trip and back, skipping Gibraltar, would be to me too exhausting. Obviously, I highly recommend the tour.
