Last saturday I visited this museum with my younger brother. He is a very big Star Wars fan and I gave this trip as a surprise.
The location is very great and the owner very enthousiastic and polite.
We had very nice conversations with him about our shared passion and he even showed us very special item. Like a special lightsaber whe ware aloud to hold as a surprise.
The experience is very cool. A very big collection with limited and unique items and displays. Even a few original items.
This experience is for all ages and there are also interactive ellements incluided.
I would really recommend this museum for all Star Wars Fans.
We did spend more than 3 hours over there, because there is som much to see and lots of detailed items.

Had a great day at Borussia Park. Decided to get a taxi from the main train station, worked out at 5 Euros each, bargain! There were lots of food and beer stands in the stadium at reasonable prices. Excellent game for a neutral, ended 3-2 with bags of atmosphere

I went to the Abteiberg Museum in Moenchengladbach last week and it was a great experience. The museum has modern art from various artists that really inspired me. I was particularly impressed by the sculptures by Joseph Beuys and the paintings by Gerhard Richter. The building itself is also a work of art, designed by Hans Hollein. It has an interesting shape, reminiscent of a mountain, and many windows that let in a lot of light. The museum is very well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend the Abteiberg Museum to anyone who is interested in art or just wants to spend a nice day.

An oasis of calm and nature with extensive walking options. The beautiful traditional gothic castle itself has a small museum (€ extra) and make sure to take bird food 💜

The park is located in the northern part of the city center. It is a bit higher up, but still easy to access with bicycle or on foot. The park exists since 1890. At the time it was called 'Kaiser park', but after the last emperor fled to the Netherlands in 1918 it was renamed. The adjacent cemeteries were gradually incorporated in the park and a botanical garden was established.

Visiting on a Sunday afternoon in autumn I found the park rather crowded, but still pleasant, as people behaved in a polite manner. No noise, but tranquility and trees with different shades of colourful leaves.

A nice place where you can come every Sunday to attend the ceremony. There is a city center in front of the place with a lot of restaurants. You won't be bored here

A 51 meter high water tower in Jugendstil from 1909 (architect Otto Greiss). More than 100 years old and well maintained. Robust architecture. The upper part almost resembles a fortress. Perhaps not very beautiful, but solid and pleasant to be around, as if you feel safer here than elsewhere. I liked the decoration with aquatic animals.

Big local square, with lots of bars and restaurants with outside seating areas. Covered areas for those who don't like to sit in the sun. A lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.

Went to see Bryan Adams in concert here, good location as buses run frequently out to the stadium and also there is a free shuttle bus back to town after the concert.
Lots of beer and food stands.
Nice friendly atmosphere and although there was a lot of people there it didn't feel over crowded,

This great hall was completed in 1903 and named after relatively unknown German emperor Friedrich who ruled for only 99 days in 1888. The architecture of the hall is quite stunning. At the time applying Jugendstil was a progressive step forward contrasting neoclassical 'dull' buildings designed to impress the common man. The setting of the almost festive building on the hill with Bunter park at its rear is pleasant as well.
