The Museum is very hands-on and allows the children to experience life in the mines in Germany and for the older generations there is so much history you can brush up on and learn.
Beautiful location, genuine industrial history, very authentic, carefully restored, very suitable for families.

My family of 7, grandparents, parents and kids all thought the tour of the stadium was brilliant.
It could get hectic if it is an important match or if Enlish fans are in house ;)) ... so if you are taking children be aware of that and plan ahead ...
German Football Museum

... v Hamburg match Lots of really interesting exhibits Realise just how good and successful the German team have been Even 1966 is covered!! Definitely recommended - good for families and a for any football fan!
The museum is also full of technological interactive stuff such as quizzes you can play with your friends or family and shows that are activated once in a while.
