This is the old warehouse district of Hamburg, is a combination of old warehouses, canals, bridges and pathways connect between. Great place for a walk ,beautiful architecture, good photos opportunities. In the are there are some good museums like miniature museum that worth a visit.
Actually this are connecting the long history of the city with its future. Fully recommended for spent some time.

Actually is not an old church ,the largest church of Hamburg and the most recognisable. The interior is exceptional due to the impressive 5 organs and the baroque design. The place inspire silent, peace and pray.Trere is a lift that you can go up to the top of the clock tower with stunning views over the city.
Worth a visit, one of the most popular attractions oh Hamburg.

Beautiful ,impressive, Neo Renaissance style with great unique architecture .It is located in the centre of the city, the ground floor is open to the public. Very nice courtyard at the back with beautiful fountain and a cafe /restaurant .In front there is a big lively square. The surrounding area is very nice, with canals ,shops, cafes ,restaurants .Worth a visit , in my opinion is the most impressive building of the city.

A mastodon in his suit, very unique and well-executed architecture with history. To get a more added value should now choose to look at the courtyard and parts of the interior that are public

Travelling through Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (train station), it turned out to be a highlight of my brief visit to Hamburg.
Stunning German Train station - with cast iron roof - a relic of better design days.
Fairly easy to find your way around.
Lots of shops / cafes, left luggage.
Helpful ticket office who are fluent in English - thank you.
    Nice first class lounge.
Very busy even on a Sunday.

This is a large modern build that sort of dominates the port side of Hamburg.

It is the grand type of building you would expect for one of the main offices of such a large corporate organisation. If you are port side of town you will see it and appreciate the architecture I am less minded to suggest going out of your way to see it.

I found this area to be more upmarket than other areas of Hamburg. It has a good selection of expensive shops together with restaurants bars etc. I found that the buildings are impressive in that particular area.

There was a lovely Christmas market when we visited in December. All the stalls are made to look like gingerbread houses. All the usual food drink and decorations/ crafts. Quite small and not to busy when we visited on a Thursday afternoon.

Arriving midafternoon on a Sunday, my friend and I enjoyed the modest crowd, music concert on stage, cool weather, and views of the river and city hall. Plenty of food choices around and s train station nearby, if you didn’t feel up to the walk back to the hotel.

Returning from a meeting at Coffee Plaza, Am Sandtorpark, I couldn't help stop and admire this impressive beautiful Chamber of Commerce building on a wide avenue.

The courtyard is extremely well taken care of, almost like a resort. Kudos to the city administration and the Chamber staff.

This is the inner courtyard of the town hall.
It features lavish architecture and a beautiful (dry) fountain.
    It's worth a 5-minute visit.

We visited Elbphilharmonie Hamburg in July. As we didn't book a concert or anything we were not sure how easy it would be to go to the lookout "The Plaza". And: surprise surprise, it was totally easy to get there.
Just queue for a very short time to get your plaza visitor ticket, go through the barriers and up to the lookout.
Hamburg Senate plans to cancel the free tickets. So hurry to get this beautiful experience for free as long as it is for free.
