I booked a guided tour in English. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It is a very interesting building and fascinating to see the parliament and learn about it. Unfortunately the Dome was being cleaned on the day we visited so I didn’t get the chance to climb up it. However it was nice looking out from the roof terrace.

A iconic symbol of history.. Very touristy but nice, Plenty of places to eat and drink near by , Where I found a lovely bakerie where they sold Cakes/Sandwiches & Hot/Cold drinks.
It`s situated on sort of the main rd but it has plenty of space to walk around it, Also there are guides that will tell you all about it plus other interesting stuff about other nearby attractions..For a price..
The S and U bahn train station is very nearby as well..Plenty of seats to have a rest as well..

We stopped at this memorial on our bike tour, even in the 15 minutes we spent here we found it rather moving. Its a must while in Berlin.

I saw this on trip advisor but didn’t see it mentioned in any guide books and I’m so glad I did see it here. This was a fantastic museum as well as a lots of other information. Go to the museum first which is free and get the guides and then you know what each part relates too. Loads to see and read and was a highlight of our trip. So respectfully done and really informative.

The Pergamon is an excellent museum. I highly recommend booking a time slot; we arrived at 11am and there was quite a substantial queue already. We were able to skip it and got straight in. The exhibitions themselves are excellent; my only criticism is that most of the explanations are not translated to english. Plenty of places to sit for those who need it; the cafe is big and the food is tasty. The gift shop is also well worth a look.

Exploring the East Side Gallery in Berlin was a captivating journey into history and contemporary art. The gallery, which is a preserved section of the Berlin Wall, features a vibrant and thought-provoking collection of murals and graffiti. Each artwork tells a unique story and reflects the spirit of unity and change that followed the wall’s fall. Walking along the gallery’s open-air corridor and admiring the colorful and often politically charged artworks was a powerful experience. The guided tours provided valuable insights into the artists and the significance of the East Side Gallery in Berlin’s history. The East Side Gallery is a must-visit for art enthusiasts, history buffs, and anyone looking to understand the city’s past and present.

Simply super! Amazing costumes and scenography, incredible dancers and acrobats, unexpectable theater special effects. An experience to live and possibly repeat. Two eyes are not enough.

I'd place this visit as top priority to all visitors of Berlin. You could easily devote a full day to absorbing the artwork, artifacts and amazing architecture that makes up the museums on this island.
Bring a good pair of walking shoes, lots of energy, some water and perhaps a small lunch.
Lots of unexpected surprises and breathtaking exhibits to admire. If you have time to visit more than one museum, there is a ticket available for €19 each to allow admission to multiple museums, please note booking visit times in advance is recommended to avoid disappointment.

It was a pretty building, in a central location. I did not visit the inside, but it was the crown of my time enjoying the river at night, eating Currywurst and hanging out with my friends. One of the few worthy architectural sights in Berlin.

This is a nice park, that is close to a myriad of major attractions: Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the free Holocaust memorial. My friends and I enjoyed taking respite in the shade from the hot sun, reading our books and eating our lunches in the grass.

Spent a fabulous day visiting the animals at the zoo here in Berlin.
Would have loved to see a bit more information available in multi-languages. Obviously German was prioritised and some great information and there are fun facts for children available in English too.
The animal enclosures appear to be very roomy, especially in comparison to other zoos. Loved that there were so many zoo keepers on staff and that it was possible to see the various food options available for the animals.
We had great weather for our mid-week zoo visit which helped us through our ramble, often times we had to remind ourselves that we were still inside a very busy city.

Great views from the top of the tower.
No queue so really quick access however it did feel like there were too many people at the viewing deck trying to read the information about the buildings in view
There was no time limit to how long you could spend at the top which sort of solves the problem and causes it at the same time
Quite pricey but definitely the best view in Berlin!

I spent at least a couple of hours in this museum and did find it fascinating, although be warned there is a huge amount to read.
The story of Alexander the Great's conquest through Asia was really well presented with excellent maps, including a huge map in the centre of the exhibit.
Moving on, the exhibit on ancient Egypt is huge and would be amazing for a huge Egyptian fan. It's not my favourite period of history but I will say that seeing all these few thousand year old artifacts does remind one of our place in history.
I found the section on prehistory and the middle ages to be my favourite. I am pretty sure this was the museum with a really nice video of how mankind lived throughout the periods of the stone ages through to the iron age. It was excellently done.
The only problem I have with these large museums is the amount of reading and leaving bags in lockers means no access to water unless you visit often pricy cafes. You have to book for museums on Berlin's museum island too so might be tough to do some over two days.
It is a fascinating place to visit though. I'm glad I got into one of Berlin's big museums.

The markets here for Christmas are far better than the one’s that visit the UK. Lots of shopping, eating & drinking option. All very festive.
