    Green lung
    Beautiful, big park in the centre of the city. It's possible to reach it from the Brandenburg gate and in the center you can find the Victory Column. The zoo is also there

    Review of: Gärten der Welt
    Different Garden Themes
    Apparently during winter period, they close down a lot of the gardens - Korean, Japanese, Chinese. There was also no water display at the water garden.

    Despite a lot of things being closed during our visit, we both very much enjoyed. For us, it was well worth the far travel from the center of Berlin. Took us about an hour to get to and we spent a little over 4 hours in it.

    Paid €8 euros for two people. Would definitely love to come back.

    Review of: Prinzessinnengarten
    "Green heaven"
    A very unusual place. At the same time, there is a garden and a small restaurant with a bar. Very, very artistic, but very, very specific. In general, I would advise anyone to visit this place and check themselves if you can like it, but in truth one who is interested in such places will be able to evaluate it truly.

    Review of: Lustgarten
    Historic park on Museum Island
    The Lustgarten is a park-like square in the historic city center. Berlin Cathedral and Altes Museum are located next to it.

    This garden has its roots in the 16th century when Elector Johann Georg had a swamp near his castle drained to create room for a fruit and herb garden.

    There is a fountain in the middle of the garden.

    Review of: James Simon Park
    A lush riverside park
    James Simon Park is located in the Berlin Mitte between the Friedrichs Bridge and the Stadtbahn. You can admire Berlin Cathedral from there.

    James Simon (1851–1932) was a German-Jewish entrepreneur and art collector. He donated most of his significant collections to the Berlin State Museums, including the famous Nefertiti bust.

    The previously unnamed green space was redesigned in the 2000s and named after James Simon on May 23, 2007, on the 75th anniversary of his death.

    Review of: Café am Neuen See
    Large dishes, tasty, good location
    We were recommended at the hotel nearby to visit the “place with a fireplace inside” and were lucky to get there when it’s not much crowded. In general it’s more of a saloon countryside-styled: spacious common space with heigh ceiling, large wooden tables, fireplace in the middle, music... I believe it’s an awesome place for a winter beer party.

    we ordered: potatoes soup, selection of sausages(black pudding, liver and one another) with sauerkraut, avocado and poached eggs sandwich, goat cheese salad-everything was plenty, fresh and tasty. And for a reasonable cost.

    Recommend! On summer there’s a chance to enjoy lake view.
