I came for Green Week 2020. The convention centre is huge but, well laid out and easy to navigate if you have a map or use the offline map on your phone. Access is easy via public transport. I arrived at opening time and used a side entrance for pre-ticketed trade visitors. The main entrance was a complete mob scene. The facilities are good. The expo is all about food and drink, so no worries there (except for deciding what to have and not to overindulge). The was a deficit of a lack of places to sit between the halls. People ended up sitting on window sills, etc as there were only a couple benches in a couple places. Also, it is kind of shabby and possibly dangerous when you have to go outside and dodge the traffic between some halls.

I've read about the fantastic nightlife in Berlin. I was way too early to check out Tresor but this is literally next door. Saw some artsy electronic band on the ground floor, then a light/visual installation on the upper floor. There's a mezzanine area for drinks, but the place was dark, concrete and terribly interesting, like Berlin. So I was equally thrilled to have found this place.

The building design, with its funnel like entrance area, intimates invitation, gives an airy and open feeling. Cubist impression, white stone and glass. Nice object to look at.

Artist Homes is a great place of artistic scene. From classical to Jazz, various concerts take place and a moody but modern gallery is there. The bunker which used to use as a schelter, now it has a astonish atmosphere!

I visited for the Nothing To Seeness exhibition, and it was spectacular! Entry was just 6 euros and there were three large rooms of avant-garde artwork - a very interesting and unique selection. I went early in the morning so it was very quiet and peaceful. Staff spoke great English and were very friendly and helpful. There is also a small gift shop and cafe. It's located right next to Bellevue station so very easy to access, and surrounded by the beautiful Tiergarten park. Overall an enjoyable trip!

If you want to see what Berlin is so good at - experimental culture in unusual places - this charming scruffy place is ideal. You will meet like minded people who will greet you like friends. Prices are low, and by attending, you will help struggling artists continue their work. These places are becoming harder to find, now that gentrification is happening. Sit at the bar with a beer and marvel that this sort of place still exists!

As I am - for my travel guides BertaBerlin - always looking for the hidden gems in Berlin, I visited this place.
The experience of allowing oneself to be completely immersed in the present moment, in a positive feedback loop of clarity and contentment. Things seem more effortless and pleasant, that's what Scott, the co-founder of the "Baumhaus Projekt" offers in his workshop "FLOW" which is always held on the last Wednesday of the month. He shows simple and effective methods which they have used over the last three years at the "Improvisational Groove Orchestra I.G.O." (free improv singing every Thursday in the treehouse). Within 20 minutes you can learn how to use a common soundram and create resonance in the form of improvised music. Here you can experience real ‘flow’ moments. Participation is easy, musical talent is not necessary - everyone is welcome! Important - if you've never sang in a tree house before, please come in time for the introduction and warm up!
