Definitely worth booking in advance for - I had visited Berlin previously and not booked in advance which led to disappointment, and I was right to be! Very easy process, security friendly and simple before a fantastic walk up. Clever that the audio guide works using your location too. Accessible and many photo opportunities, fantastic!

One of the iconic monuments of Berlin. Visited on a sunny spring day and the area has lots of energy from the crowds that swirl all about this area. Definitely worth coming back at night when it is illuminated and backlit against the night sky

If you are in Berlin for the first time and you like history and art, you must visit here. I have seen it twice. Be careful, there are a lot of pickpockets. Also there is very large groups of tourists, so it's hard to take good photos.

“Falling in Love,” this year’s Grand Show at the Friederichstadt Palast, was tighter and even more elaborate than the productions we’d seen in the past, despite two unscheduled pauses for technical difficulties, perhaps resulting from the elaborate staging, which included trampolines, fountains and a dizzying number of moving parts. Jean Paul Gaultier’s phantasmagoric costumes were so elaborate that I wondered how the dancers could perform in them. A strong color scheme – green, red and blue – helped bring the visual aspects together. The music was more melodic and not as ear-splittingly loud as in previous years. The singers seemed better miked than they had in the past, so we could actually discern the lyrics, presented bilingually, with some stanzas or entire songs in German and others in English. Olivier Erie St. Louis, who played the chameleon Leon, was particularly strong.

Go and experience this wonderful gem in the middle of Berlin! Photos do not do it justice, each building seems to outdo the other in architecture. And so many treasues inside. Take time to think about what you'd mostly be interested in. Take good walking shoes and focus on 2 museums with breaks each day.

Whilst wandering around the city, the tower is visible from so many points, and is always makes for a fine view... Especially up close.

We had a walk around after paying our €2 enterance fee, and settled at one of the bars for drinks before getting a vegan sausage, cabbage, dumplings and sauce bowl (so tasty!) and a bratwurst! Fun spot to people watch, enjoy some traditional live music, and soak in the atmosphere.

Very interesting exhibition. I would take your own earbuds so you can use the audio link which I'm sure must have been good but just listening out loud felt intrusive to others and others felt the same given the number of people I saw also give up. There was some interesting facts to learn. Would have preferred the flow to be the other way around. But overall a great exhibition

We walked here from the Brandenburg Gate and had a wander around the Christmas Market (small and mainly food), and then visited the Boulevard of the Stars and the Panoramapunkt. There are plenty of shops in the area and it is a lot more modern than other places across the city.

Visited for the Christmas Market just as night was falling. Great range of stalls and one of the better markets. Although there is a lot of commonality to them all. Other sites are here, passing on the German names, the town hall, elaborate fountain, church and the modern drum like clock.

Perfect if you enjoy your history. Just stay away from the souvenir shops and pretend they haven't stuck a McDonald's next door

We enjoyed the walk and it was interesting to see all the luxury brand shops. We enjoyed the zoo and Gedächtniskirche at the other end of it.

We visited here on a very warm Sunday in September and wow, the vibes here were immaculate. So many beautiful stalls with a variety of clothes, jewellery, other intriguing items to browse!

The food / drinks stalls were a bit meh, nothing special and overpriced (by the German standards) but the musical and performance entertainment and the sense of community made up for the food and drinks. I really enjoyed my time here, I would definitely come back.

This was one of the nicest areas in the city, especially in the snow! The cobbled streets had some lovely shops and restaurants and it was very nice to stroll around. Definitely visit!
