Very awe-inspiring and worth a visit. Has a very special atmosphere and the lights very beautiful. The organist was practicing and had a very nice tone to it.

I visited the new Jewish Synagogue which was heavily guarded and not an over exciting visit. No photography was allowed, the dome was closed and about half the exhibits were only in German. The synagogue was largely destroyed by Allied bombing in 1943 and the rebuilt structure is a large building with Moorish and gothic elements mixed in. There was interesting information on the life of the Jewish population in Berlin up to the 1930's and some personal stories of the destruction of this lifestyle. I’m not sure what I was expecting but I certainly wouldn’t revisit until the dome is open.

This church was bombed in WWII. So this war is still very close when you look at this church. The entrance is free. They builded a new part next to it.

I enjoyed worshiping with fellow believers in an impressive location. The acoustics are phenomenal and made their great choir sound even better. A friendly, multicultural congregation.

A peaceful green space for those who love old cemeteries. There are easy-to-walk paths and a variety of monuments of different styles and scales. A nice escape from the busy nearby roads. An easy twelve minute walk from Alexanderplatz or take the M4 tram.
