Berlin's Harrods! This shop is amazing! We were greeted at the door by a charming footman. We walked around and saw and bought a lot of amazing products...then we went to the 6th Floor! Totally blown away! The Champagne bar! Outstanding! Finally we went for dinner in the 7th floor. It was perfectly made food in the Wintergarden. Will definitely visit it again when we visit Berlin again.

An architectural gem of a series of connected courtyards. What we now describe as mixed use - retail, residential, office all jumbled up. And of course entirely pedestrian. Definitely brings focus to the modern idea of the 15 minute city. Some interesting shops including one devoted to ampelmannchen - the East German traffic light symbol adopted after the fall of the Wall. Entertaining little shop.

It's a Sunday flea market with all kinds of collectibles, vintage decor items, books, clothes, accessories as also other vendors selling various things that are interesting...
Live music & food stalls enhance the experience...if you have time, it's a good place to visit.

This is the best area to see what East Berlin looked like before the wall came down. This is what the entire area looked like. Its drab and dreary but cool by today's standards.

Nice place to walk around. Enjoyed a quiet lunch in small cafe in the basement. Attentive service-good food.

Good morning time to visit when everything closed due to Corona. Maybe not the best schnitzeles there, but definitely ok with beer and some curry. Good feeling of people around you. Yeah! This is Prenzlau! Waiting for the good sunny weather.

Impressive shows, great combinations of light, sound and motion. As you move through the seven installations every next one is sufficiently different or more interesting than the previous one. The first rooms only allow for ca. 10 people each, suggesting that you spend less time here, but you can not turn back, so don’t move on too soon. Visit after sunset is recommended for the atmosphere and, if available, the outdoors Summerlights Installation is a perfect finish.

We did a walk from out airbnb flat at Gabriel-Max Strase and the smell of food made us stop. We had some great streetfood and looked at all the interesting shops.

Review is only about „Geflügel Oase“ in Marheineke. Unbelievable price, paid only 14 Euros for chicken, duck, potatoes and coke. Quality was like lovely house made, nothing special but very satisfying. I was surprised to find such a place here in the more expensive area. This is really a secret tip.

    Open on Saturdays and Sundays.
I bought three items to remember my visit to Berlin and the different vendors were willing to negotiate on all three prices. I would much rather buy unique items at a market such as this than mass produced souvenirs.
Enjoyable for adults; may be boring for children.
Everything from clothing to dishes, art work to historic salvage items, jewelry to home decor. Lots of cool stuff.

I went Dec 30 - perhaps not the best day as everyone was stocking up for New Year's Even. Very, very crowded - but still fun to browse. The supermarket is the biggest Asian one I've seen in Berlin.

The former Euro-Center is now almost a memory only. A lot of shops have moved out. Perhaps the most important place is its parking garage.
