Very cute square, loved the musical environment. The cuckoo clock was also quite nicely done. Sit at one of the beer gardens nearby and enjoy the atmosphere

I love swimming here in those streams; its very good and also quite adventurous. Also great for a picknick orsomething and have your bike with you at hand; all very well!

I loved walking about the gardens outdoors. However, did not tour the palace. So my feedback is limited. Do highly recommend enjoying the gardens!

We went early right before it opened on a Monday, and had the place all to ourselves for about 1 hr. Avoid going on a hot day as it gets really hot in there (no A/C). Another reason to go early in the morning. We purchased our tickets the day before, and didn’t take a back pack, so we could just go and get the Antiquarium all to ourselves. This is a must see. Allow about 2-3 hours if you go through the entire audio guide.

A lovely compact city! Lots to see and do! Every single person we met was super helpful and friendly!
Check out the museums on a Sunday for €1.
Work out the public transport system!
Group tickets for up to 5 people €14 - super value and you get to see more of the city!

We were nearby and stopped here for lunch. Our German sausages were excellent and the atmosphere is festive.

My husband who is crazy about cars had a wonderful time, but it was very boring for the kids (7 and 11 years old). They could make the exhibition more kid-friendly and interactive.

It's an excellent open space not far from the centre of Munich, an easy metro ride away. There's plenty to see and do here and you could easily spend a day here with all the attractions available.

So many old Masters' paintings! I was almost overwhelmed. You could spend a whole day here and not get round everything. The gallery is airy and quite spacious. There are a couple of floors and there is a cafe. Outside there is an attractive green space where you can relax if the weather is good. Heartily recommended.

Well worth it, the atmosphere is great. The beers are good, and very lively atmosphere. We came during the week following the opening day, and it was busy pretty much right from gates open in the morning. Service was very efficient, and we met a group of locals on our table that made it an excellent time. We tried two tents and found Schottenhamel to be the more enjoyable experience - more traditional, more local crowd, and lively without being absurd.

Someone here said that churches don’t disappoint in Munich and it is true. They are all different from one another and very beautiful. This one is no exception. Go early in the morning as soon as it opens to have it all to yourself. That’s what we did.

Incredible zoo. Not too big so you can walk around and even stay and just "glance" at the animals you like, without spending your whole day there. In addition, the way everything is constructed, the fences, the alleys, bring up the nature undoubtedly close to you. At moments you just feel as actually being surrounded by that certain biome you are currently "at".

Enjoyed the animals there. The monkeys were so "childish" and energetic, they were running all around during the whole time.

The environment set up for children is just incredible... So much stuff is provided for them not to get bored and enjoy the day to the fullest.

Unfortunately, now, probably because of the COVID19 virus, most (if not all) of the shows are canceled. Still, it's a great experience you should definitely consider if you happen to be in Munich.

We literally stumbled upon this completely unawares as we were noodling through Munich central on a quiet Sunday afternoon and what a find! Breathtakingly beautiful - sure, edging towards gauche that is often the case with baroque style - but what a masterpiece. A must see in this city of churches.

This was really neat to see - in the middle of the city! The surrounding park is beautiful and the surfers were impressive. I was surprised by how fast the water was moving downstream! Lots of people hanging out in and near the water on the hot day!
