Nothing that will change your life, but you have to see it at least once while in Munich. The glockenspiel is worth it... once :)

Lovely place to visit, either for learning some historical facts or to simply look at the view. Great value for money too!

When visiting Schlöß Neuschwanstein, a visit to this bridge is a must. You get the most breathtaking view of the castle. If it wasn’t for the fact that my knees had turned to jelly, I’d have stayed there all day! Haha! My jaw just dropped when I saw the castle from the bridge, and my eyes were like saucers. I just can’t get over how beautiful the view from the bridge is!

The name is odd, but make no mistake, this is a castle containing one of the most important ceilings in Western civilization. Do not miss this the opportunity to visit this schloss and to devote considerable time to its Giovanni Battista Tiepolo ceiling. You will also learn the heartwarming story of how the Americans saved the ceiling and other treasures after the roof was blown off during WW2,. And you should not miss an opportunity to visit the extensive gardens. We spent more than an hour on a detailed look at and analysis of the ceiling, then we had to go back for more. We will never forget this masterpiece of painting, perspective, and culture. Sign up for a tour in English to benefit from a full understanding of the significance of this major milestone in art history. And to learn about America's famous "monuments men."

This place is truly breathtaking. We visited as a bucket list place for my dad and so glad we could go. Very interesting learning about the history, I’d recommend using a tour guide. The views though are hard to describe, a must see in person. Highly recommended!

Visited whilst in Augsburg. Not far from town centre . Fascinating place . Amazing to learn about the principles and success behind the place . All the displays were both in English and German so really informative . Some of videos also had English subtitles. Well worth a visit

Worth a visit to this quaint town, steeped in history and beautiful. Everything within walking distance, lots of restaurants and places to see. The River Danube was lovely too. Must visit Das Oberhus for a superb meal and views across the town. It's perched on top of a hill, don't let that put you off, a bus travels up there or a 10 minute walk, it's a must

All buildings clean and nice for view! This makes all photos well looking. All you need is to collect from yours hotel reception desk a map with all 18 points to see and start putting "X" on each !

We first visited Neuschwanstein thirty years ago with some German friends before it became quite as commercial. and now we tagged along with out tour group. Memories flooded back of the steep climb - we were fitter then - the steps and above all the magnificance of the setting and the fairytale architecture. Clearly, as the crowds indicated, a must see if you are in the area.

This is a beautiful and historic city and one of the main attractions on our river cruise. The lovely views across the river to the row of buildings is the photo opportunity and a fitting introduction to the city.
No wonder this is a World heritage site. The city is a delight to walk through, with so much to offer. The buskers on the market square provided a great background and mood to this memorable visit.

Like our tripto Neuschwanstein this was a return visit thirty years on after an expedition with some German friends. I think I was more impressed with Hohenschwangau this time round, possibly due to the excellent hand held audio guide which meant you could hear and go at your own pace despite the teeming crowds, inevitable at the height of the tourist season. Fantastic views made the walking well worth it.
