This is a perfect attraction: 1. Located in a beautiful building 2. Easily accessible in a great part of town 3. Friendly staff and excellent facilities (WC, restaurant, storage) 4. Perfectly curated exhibits 5. Well behaved visitors of all ages!
The attention to detail and care put into the models is impressive. One can go from one part of the exhibit to another without any obstruction . The design of the exhibit space is really remarkable. We set out to stay for an hour and ended up staying for five and decided to eat lunch at the wonderful restaurant. I understand why Miniature Wonderland is the number one attraction in beautiful Hamburg. Just perfect!
One of the highlights of our weekend in Berlin. You MUST book in advance; it's free to attend and there is also a very good and free audio tour that outlines all the landmarks as you wind your way up the glass dome. Definitely recommended.
Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall! I could hear President Reagan’s words as I stood here. I was last here in 1991 when all the changes were so fresh. So happy to come back and see Berlin now. This is a must see!
Marienplatz (mar-EEN-platz) is the center of town. Between Odeonplatz and here you can easily walk to many of the "downtown" attractions (Rathaus, Hofbrauhaus, market, beer garden, church and cathedral) and many shops and restaurants. It's a lovely square and a great place for people-watching.
Its just a breathtaking experience to visit, every details on the dome have been incredibly well crafted, such an Artefact! But those stairs, oh my... quite the workout but totally worth it!
This does not look like much from the street other than blocks. Once you enter, it is fascinating. I don’t quite understand what the artist was getting at but it still left an impression.
We had 2 full days and 2 half days and enjoyed every single moment. We went at end of November and it was so pretty and beautifully decorated for Christmas lots of gorgeous lights and Christmas trees. It felt so magical. I would recommend watching the ice show. There were so great rollercoaster s which is what we mainly came for but was so surprised by the diversity of the different rides and enjoyed them all. Pirates of Bratavia rivals Disney. The food outlets in the park were very reasonable and very tasty, lots of variety. This park really has it all and absolutely loved it. The tickets were reasonably priced especially for what you get. We would thoroughly recommend a visit to this theme park.
A hugely interesting, but a very harrowing and emotionally draining museum but well worth a visit whilst in Berlin. You get a free audio tour accessible via your mobile - so might be worth taking some headphones. Lots of reading to do whilst you are there.
Very well put together on the site of the old SS and Gestapo HQ.
It was an amazing experience. Lot's of different kind of entertainments performed by a big group of people. 2 hours full of fun and great entertainment. Really enjoyed it and plan to go again.
