What travelers are saying
- Joelle GFrance4 contributionsExcellent visit. Very immersive. Hugo our guide was very knowledgeable and very pleasant.
One comprehensive way to understand mining in 19th/20th century France. We recommend. Very good value for money.Written June 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The home fans outsang the United fans which is some achievement! No trouble from the local police and the fans around the ground were fine with away fans present. Plenty of searches outside of the ground and a number of barriers to pass to ensure that only ticket holders gained access.Written March 26, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - charbiasMbombela, South Africa171 contributionsThere is a lot to see in this museum, although there were only 3 sections open: Ribbon making - where you can see a demonstration of this happening using the old machines; The history of bicycles - really great collection as there was with the History of guns. There are bar codes that can be scanned to obtain information, as due to Covid 19 none of the interactive screens is working. The ticket lasts all day - so you can look around, go out and do something else and then return. The only problem is, the Ribbon demonstration and bar code information is all in French. You can however get booklets in English. Don't forget to wear a mask!Written August 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Back here after 23 years when our hosts got married.
It has some character.
We didn't really explore mush of the town as we were house guests & but we did get to know the nice Railway station.Written December 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
