This little cafe is warm and inviting with comforts and decor to make you feel at home. Enjoy a multitude of teas, take in un cafe or enjoy a detox juice and add to the health benefits of that juice with scrumptious muffin or cookie! You can buy chocolates, teas, tea pots or other little gifts. Do not miss. The staff is lovely.

Lovely little pub playing excellent music. There is a happy hour until 7pm on a night from 5.30pm (not sure which days). Large range of cocktails, shots, lager. Also shows sports on screens. Lovely lady working in the pub made us feel very welcome.

We enjoyed a nice drink at the terrace outside. It is a nice & relaxing moment.
You need to first of all order and pay your drinks inside before finding a table.

A moment of pure inspiration leaving the tourist laden streets for a cheeky beer or two. Charcuterie and Fromage, réal ales on tap, heavenly

My fiance and I attended one of the many wonderful wine tasting workshops offered at Au Fin Gousier - and it was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip to France! The wine, the food, and the company was amazing! It was an incredibly valuable and informative experience - we would go back in a heartbeat, and strongly encourage wine lovers everywhere to visit this truly special place.

Don't expect any 3for2 pitchers of pre-mixed woowoo here and, to be honest, that makes the Manhatten Café even better! The cocktails are absolutely delicious, but that does come at a price. However, the atmosphere, decor and the attitude of the staff make it worth while.

Came to visit with friends whilst on a work trip to Caen. Nice place, with a good outside seating area. Drinks very competitively priced and the staff are friendly!

Next to a marina sits this atmospheric pub. We stopped there and had a couple of glasses of Champagne. It was Champagne Alexis St Aude. Very tasty, although very slightly oxidised. The cost was a very modest 6.50 Euros per glass about the cheapest in the peninsular. It was a monday and they were almost the only bar open.

On a lovely day it is best to sit outside, but on a cool evening it is best outside.

If you are stuck in Caen for the night this is a great bar, full of locals and a great selection of Belgium beers. Basic but traditional bar snacks such as Salami are available and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.

I've been coming to Caen once a year for 7 years now and I discovered this place during my latest visit. What a little gem of a place. Great beers that I've not come across before which are a great find. I never had France high on my radar for excellent craft micro-breweries but this has changed my perception somewhat. Food choice is limited but this is clearly tactical and very well executed. The food is exclusively "trays" of either cold cured meats or cheese with bread and they are a great accompaniment to the beers and perfectly filling on their own. Would definitely recommend this place!

I stumbled across this place whilst wandering around looking for some other bars that met the search criterion craft beer. Ironically the other bars turned out to be no where near as good as here.

They advertise 10 Pressions, mostly Belgian beers. Pints (almost) are only 5 Euro at happy hour. And the saucisson is great.

It’s really difficult to find hoppy beer in France. Like a decent long coffee with milk they just don’t have it in their culture. But this place had a pretty good selection. Veddet ipa and little trolls both quite hoppy by French standards, although fairly average by ours. The rest are more malty affairs with high alcohol content.

It’s homely, much more like a uk pub rather than a French bar/tabac.

I must admit the Christmas special contained aniseed so was foul, although I should have asked for a taste before buying a pint. But there are plenty of other nice choices. Also good selection of bottles and excellent selection of spirits.

Would I go back - definitely, we specifically sort it out 3 days later for a couple.
