Walked round here and everything was very neat and pretty even though it was a cold February day. Lots of chairs to sit, places to get a coffee and chairs everywhere. I bet it’s fabulous in the summer.

An enjoyable green space with mature landscape, ideal for that stroll to clear the mind. Well-lit at night too.

It's always a serene and upscale garden to visit even in cold weather. Lots of places to sit and rest and observe. Beautiful mansions are all around the park. Some intentionally place scuplture and landscape design placed all around. This is a designed garden for a rich neighborhood.

One of my favorite things to do in Paris is to take a long walk in this elevated park. It used to be a railroad line stretching out to the suburbs, long abandaoned, but then turned into a lovely linear park. It connects up with a couple of other much wider parks further east and one can walk all the way out to the Peripherique. Some clever planting along the way.

The park was right across the street from the University of Paris campus where I was taking classes for the week and on my last day in Paris, I was finally able to walk around. It was just so relaxing to walk along the paths and soak it all in. Like a mini version of Central Park in New York City.

I only got to see a small part of the park but still it was nice to walk around it.

We chose Porte Maillot Metro. Bad idea. That whole area is completely torn up for the new tramway extension in advance of ‘24 Olympics. Porte Dauphine much better with just a bit of detouring. We are inveterate walkers and were tired by end of day.

Parc’s famous formal rose garden was being carefully groomed for the rose expo this weekend, June 3-4. A nice selection of roses blooming there but nowhere near the height I had expected. The chateau itself closed off in the midst of a major remodel, the rest of the grounds as beautiful as ever. Peonies & irises especially.

And can you beat the price of entry? Almost free, but not quite! Modest numbers of guests present. Tourist hordes absent, perhaps because public transit doesn’t take you to the doorstep.

Parc du Champ de Mars is nice place to get pictures of the Eiffel Tower. It is a long park the takes you from the Le Grand Palais Ephemere museum to the Eiffel Tower. On my visit the park looked pretty nice, pathways were cleared, the grass field were fenced off, seems like they were trying to regrow the grass. I took a stroll at night, and the park has probably the best view of the Eiffel Tower, you can catch the light show, on the top of the hour, take photos and selfies, just an amazing view. Overall, I think that Pars du Champ de Mars is good place to visit, you can walk towards the Eiffel Tower or take pictures.

The zoo is here, a good one, and some left over buildings from an international expo. A big castle, worth visiting, and some pretty lakes where one can rent a row boat. A big expanse with lots of room for biking, running, hiking or a picnic, all accessible by the Metro or bus. On the eastern edge of the city.

Made a visit here with friends and loved openness of this venue. All of the orangeries were open for us to just stroll through and explore. The plants are lovely and the old contstruction of the green houses really beautiful. However, they should really rethink the amount of birds in that small cage. That does that rhyme well with this age to treat living creatures like that. Was also missing a café of some sort to dit down and enjoy the atmosphere, but maybe we just missed that? All in all well worth the visit and would go back again.

This is a very pretty little park at the west end of Ile de la Cite, down below Pont Neuf. Great place to sit and admire the river and bridge views, look up at the Louvre. When the river is very high, it gets flooded.

After several days of much museum visiting and attraction visiting in Europe, kids were aching for sone free time. Didn’t visit science museum….only bc of limited time. But kids just loved the dragon slide and playgrounds. And just the open space to run and be kids. Was probably even more empty bc we visited in august, but that was ok with us. Sone parts seemed to be under construction. But for some free open space for kids to explore and to run around it was perfect. There’s carousels for younger set, food trucks and couple places to eat….even a McDonald’s at the entrance, a canal with boating options, and different gardens to explore.

This is a very big park without much shade, but some lovely fountains and beautiful buildings all around. It stretches from the Seine to the Invalides church with its big dome. You can see the Eiffel Tower in the distance. It was created for an international expo in the 19th Century, and continues. Beware direct sun.

Up above there is a wonderful linear park above street level stretching to the east for many block. Down below the arches have been filled in by specialty stores and galleries. A very artistic quarter and a great re-use of old rail line.

My twin brother Stephen and I were heading to Le Cabonan for some beers on a beautiful spring afternoon and passed through Square Des Batignolles ,a park I always enjoyed visiting on previous holidays to Paris ,always thought this park was beautiful but on my latest visit it looks even more beautiful .
Quite a large park area ,it covers roughly about four acres ,lots of interesting features in the park ,water features including a mini waterfall ,fountains, glasshouses ,carousel and a cafe ,well laid out garden area's,it's a very historic park being laid out in 1879,through the park is a walkway called Allee Barbara named in honour of singer Monique Andree Serf ( 1930-1997 ) who mentioned Square Des Batignolles in some of her famous songs which is a path that brings you through the park letting you take in the great views ,in the park are all manner of wildlife such as ducks and giant carp ,it's just a great park to check out if you're in the vibrant Quartier Des Batignolles .
