This was the highlight of the trip. We were able to see the tower lit up and were also able to make arrangements to go to the summit of the tower. It lit up promptly at 11PM and was breathtaking.

The Musée d’Orsay was wonderful for viewing some of the art world’s most famous paintings inside a gorgeous old building. Worth a few hours, we didn’t have time to see it all! Probably wouldn’t purchase the audio guide next time as the English translations alongside many of the paintings was sufficient.

Is a pleasure to finally meet some of the great art master pieces.
Reserve a full day to appreciate most of the exhibition.
    However, Louvre is always overcrowded

This museum boasts the largest collection of Monet’s on record. If you enjoy the impressionist work of this artist, it’s must see!

The depth of the art collection is breathtaking and moving. Highly recommended of all the museums in Paris. In our travels, we met two friendly Parisians who told us about the museum. Glad we went. Definitely a must see.

A lovely gem with an old Roman bath excavation, statues, stained glass, the tapestry with the woman and the unicorn, and more! Such an overlooked spot but worth your while! And not too busy. But close walk to Shakespeare and Co Bookstore, Notre-Dame and more. Get the museum pass so you can go to little gems like this for free!

I really enjoyed my visit! It is a house tour that is a little off the beaten path of the Paris museums. Not far from Arc de Triomphe. Interesting architectural details and a perhaps slightly oddball but interesting collection of pieces.

We visited this wonderful museum while an exhibit of Peru/Ayahuasca was running. We were so lucky to get tickets.
Be sure to have some app like google translate or similar so you can read the captions, it really helped.

The Centre of Pompidou is probably the most important exhibition of modern art in Paris. However, it clearly needs some refurbishment and maintenance. I was told this is planned soon. Anyway the exhibitions and the building are famous for good reason.

It was fascinating to see in a relatively small place, some much from so many different cultures, since ancient to more recent arts.

We had the morning free before heading home.Found this on a certain search engine map page. Easy walking distance from hotel. Wonderful place. Incredible sculptures. Ranging from busts to impressively large exhibits spread over several buildings and gardens. Interesting displays showing various sculpture methods. With a very pleasant cafe thrown in all in all a very nice ( free !! ) end to our mini break.

We were there to tour the permanent exhibition. Very impressive collection of modern artists who lived in Paris. Exceptionally simple to navigate in the collection -- very well-designed for moving about in the space, which is well-lit and roomy. If you're interest in modern painters like Delaunay, Matisse, Picasso, Utrillo, Braque and Dufy, excellent place to visit. Appreciated the curatorial emphasis upon superb female artists. Natalia Goncharova, Suzanne Valadon, Anni Albers and Maria Blanchard are well-represented here.

A great way to see a ton of Dali's sculptures in depth. They have more than just his sculptures of course, but they seem to be the central theme. While they did not offer an audio tour, all the pieces have descriptions by them for you to read. Certainly a must do for Dali lovers, however, I am not sure its a must do for anyone else.

You'll probably spent about 30-45 minutes with ease. Connected to the museum is a small gallery where you can purchase his work or work by other artists inspired by Dali. We went during a weekday and had no problem walking up and purchasing tickets, however, I believe they sell them in advance on-line and that might be worth doing to avoid issues.

This huge expo palace has been the site of many extraordinary shows, but now is closed for extensive renovations. You can get a good sense of its beauty and size by walking around, but it's a shame I could not go inside.
