Really very nice little museum (in fact it is one very large exhibition room) where you learn a lot about Dali, excellent audio tour. Only reason not to give 5 stars is that the entrance fee is about the same as the Louvre, which is like 500 times bigger. But we did enjoy ourselves.

This is a beautifully preserved artifact from the early 19th Century. There is a little bit of shopping in here, and there are a couple of places to eat and drink. But the best part of this experience is the exquisite architecture which will make you take out your camera.

This whole Centre will blow your mind as it is all so unexpected - you have no idea of the excitement here and it has so many layers to explore. You will see many people exercising and dancing whilst being videoed or filmed, youngsters in the creche, people having a meal or a coffee in the eclectic bar/bistro ( very friendly staff and speak great English). There are often exhibitions on to enjoy - we saw two which were amazing. Then we found a new shop recently opened with some WOW items from Africa - fabrics, sculptures, jewelery and collectable items at an affordable price.
All, I want to say is find time to visit this art complex and you wont be disappointed - its a hidden gem but has been open for over 10 year now and is growing in stature.

Surprising that this museum is not on more people's lists. The Jean Nouvel building is lovely and airily modern by Paris standards. The contemporary art collection is well curated and the current photography exhibit is stunning (Claudia Andujar) Well worth visiting and well done Cartier.

The marché de la création is in the neighborhood we always stay in in Paris, but we’ve apparently never been here on a Sunday before to find it.
We visited it yesterday, and it was a very pleasant experience. It didn’t take a lot of time to cover, but we were there towards closing and some exhibitors may have already left. The artists were all approachable and friendly- no pressure to buy. Works covered a range of prices- we bought one piece for €15 and another for a bit more, both from the creator.
It is located right at the Edgar Quinet metro station; you can’t miss it. It is all outdoors, so the weather could be a factor.
Sundays can be a bit hard to fill in Europe, but this neighborhood has this, a few bakeries open, an Italian deli open, and it’s an easy stroll to Luxembourg Gardens, which is always a pleasant destination.

In little street in a lovely district of Paris, far from the touristics places, this little museum show you the artwork from Chan Orloff in her workshop where she created .
You can see all her production in the place where she lived, listen the explanations done par her graandchild.
    a lovely discovery

A stimulating photo gallery with ever-changing exhibitions, worth visiting if in the Marais area. The sales-people are knowledgeable and happy to discuss collecting their photo art, the materials used and the photographers. Their vernissages are highly popular and crowded. My recommendation: if you can, go to the vernissage in the evening and then go back to pore over the photos the next day.

We saw (for FREE) a Nadia Leger art exhibit here in this beautiful building. The exhibit itself was rather small but quite interesting and it was a good excuse to see this building inside.

Visited the “light matters” installation by Erwin Redl. This is a phenomenal experience that fits perfectly into this gallery space. It is very difficult to describe but the use of lighting provides an almost hypnotic adventure, exploring light using a variety of techniques. A free exhibition which is well worth a visit (just around the corner from Bon marche)

L'ile aux images is the perfect gem of a shop for anyone who loves vintage prints and photos. The shop itself is a lovely space - full of natural light with easy to access and well-labeled displays to casually look through all the items. Upon returning home, I purchased a lovely photo by Christian Lemaire via its online shop. The service was swift and friendly - I received the photo in perfect condition. I visit this shop at least once on every trip to Paris, and even more often online!

If you are shopping around the Rue Montorgueil, take an hour also to visit the Galerie Joseph. It currently has a photographic exhibition dedicated to Frank Sinatra. Normally 8 euros (6 euros for seniors) it displays photos of Sinatra at various stages of his life, with famous politicians, actors and, of course, his women. If you are near the Musee Picasso, there is another Galerie Joseph just around the corner. A few months ago, it had a Kennedy photo exhibition. Street posters in the local areas often advertise what is currently on. Or just google Galerie Joseph, Paris.

This restaurant is one of my favourites each year when I'm in Paris, why? I not sure I want to make it more popular then it is except to say I am looking forward to lunching there next month!
