i would recomment the four day pass as we got the three day pass and there were so many museums and attractions and for the third day you only get the attractions and the Hop-On Hop- Off if you saved it. The Lourve and Versailles have to be done on different days because of the amount of time they take. You have to pre-book the Lourve and Versailles is a fair distance away. The Seine River Cruise which is great can be done at night along with the Tower. Look for the Eiffel Tower light show when you are at the Tower.

Recommended Bus tour in three languages, to the most interesting towns of Normandy plus St Malo. Good views of scenery, Comprehensive guided tour, with more time to explore in each city and attraction, especially at Mt. St. Michel. Hotel and meals 3* Only downside was Normandy beaches portion a little skimpy--missed some good museums. Did spend plenty of time at the cemetery.

We visited so many beautiful and historical sites during our tour. We were lucky to have a small group (13 people). I was very satisfied with the hotels, which were clean and quiet. Our guide, Veronica, was very knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. I felt we had enough time to visit the various locations on our own time in the majority of our stops. The only place I would have liked to have had more time in was Saint-Malo. I am very pleased with my experience! I would recommend visiting the château in Amboise, which was an option during our free time in Amboise.

This was a fantastic tour! Our guide Cyrus was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the region. This was not a pre-packaged tour but a very individualized experience, which was beyond our expectations. In a short period of time we had a wide range of experiences.. Cyrus puts a lot of thought into his itineraries and it shows!! He also made accommodations for my husband, who could not walk as much as others, so that the tour was still interesting for him. Highly recommended.

The seven children of Walter Kelly were on a mission to find where our father landed at Normandy. Our tour guide Jozef Prihoda the owner of Private Tours knows the history of the beaches and the surrounding towns and made the D-Day Landings come alive for us describing the ships, the landing boats, the German artillery and defense, and the courage of the GIs. We could not have asked for a better guide for this 2-day trip. Jozef picked us up early in Paris and we rode very comfortably for the 3 hour trip. Jozef was very friendly and despite the seriousness of our mission and the horror of the invasion he was able to laugh when the crazy Kelly family joked around, and wipe a tear when we cried at discovering the monument to our Dad’s company, the 459th Amphibian Truck Company. We left the design of the tour to Jozef and couldn’t have been happier with our decision as he built our knowledge and understanding as we wound through many small towns on the way to the beach visiting significant sites, as well as numerous churches used by the allies and Germans along the way. Once at Normandy the battle seemed to truly come alive as we entered bunkers and walked the beaches including Omaha where our dad landed. Ending at the American Cemetery was another emotional high point with the significance of the sacrifice these brave young men and women made never clearer then when taps was played for those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The Kelly family believes we could not have had a better tour guide and thank him so much for going out of his way to help us, and for understanding what was in our hearts and helping us to get to know our long passed dad better. We will never forget Jozef and to that end have already recommended him to others planning the same trip.

My wife and I were given two fantastic all day tours of Paris. The pre planning that was done with Camille was fantastic, she explained potential tour options based on the feedback she received from us. We decided to tour the right bank on day 1 and Montmartre and the left bank on day 2. Alex picked us up promptly, and our tour began, I added a visit to st chapelle to our itinerary and it was accommodated without any problem. We spent a fantastic day exploring the Marais district and all the major sights of the right bank. We stopped to buy some cheese and baguette and enjoyed a bottle of wine for lunch. Later, after the afternoon period of touring we stopped again to enjoy some cafe libations. Alex’s English was excellent and he was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history and grandeur of his city. On day 2 Florent picked us up on time, and we left via metro to the Montmartre area of Paris, then lunch in a great little cafe and on to the Latin quarter. Florent English was excellent and he was very passionate about the history of the city and shared with us many little known treasures that abound throughout the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with both guides and feel that we truly experienced the feeling of being a Parisienne while we toured. Camille also arranged an evening tour of the louvre for us with allowed us to tour the museum and see the main attractions with a very knowledgeable guide Mathew who made the art come alive with his explanations of the various pieces on display. I would highly recommend discover walks for all your touring needs while visiting Paris.

My family and I booked this two days tour with when we went to Paris last November. Having studied abroad in Europe and visited Paris once before, I had only seen the basic touristy places with no real expert explanation. My family had similar experiences in Paris as well. We had "seen it" but didn't get to know it. We took the opportunity in November to not just see it but experience it the way a Parisian would. In order to make that happen, we needed a true Parisian to show us the ins and outs. Our friends recommended Quentin's tour for us and we set up a call with him to get his suggestions. He was super nice and flexible. He really listened to us and told us what could actually be achieved during the two day tour. It sounded perfect because it allowed us a balance of our own exploration along with getting to know the city with a local.

When we finally got to Paris, Quentin did his best to make us feel very welcome and was really just the best guide we could have asked for. Both days he picked us up at our hotel to begin the tour. He shared his all his knowledge, answered all of our pesky questions gracefully and really helped us understand Parisian history and modern life today. Highly recommend if you really want an understanding guide who will show you the true Paris!

This was our first trip to France and after spending 3 days in Paris, we wanted to explore the beautiful French valleys. Luc was our private tour guide, picked us up from the train station and drove us to the troglodyte. The troglodyte was an amazing experience, very clean and it was a blast to sleep in a cave. Luc drove us to 4 different chateaus, and we dined at delicious restaurants. We had an excellent time with Luc, very personable, professional and full of knowledge. We feel we have made a lifelong friend with Luc. We plan on returning to Loire Valley and Luc in the near future and bringing out friends from USA with us.

Nicola served as our guide on a two-day tour through the Somme region battlefields and Ypres on September 10-11, 2018. My sister and I were the only people on her tour, making it even more personal. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and engaging. Nicola seemed to know everything about World War I and at the battlefields and cemeteries we were visiting. When she didn’t know something such as the relationship between hectares and acres, she acknowledged that she didn’t know the answer and them promptly looked up the information. Although we were on a World War I tour of Western Front areas, Nicola didn’t seem to mind as we asked her questions about her experience living as a Brit in France, Napoleon, the Eastern Front of World War I, Brexit, etc. She was charming, but didn’t ask as if she were trying to earn a bigger tip or receive a positive review. I can’t say enough good things about Nicola and our tour. Speaking of the tour, I should mention that we loved the selection of sites to visit. We knew about the Menin Gate before we went on the tour, but we didn’t really have an appreciation for other places that we visited before going on the tour. Nicola had a good sense of how long to stay at each site. We never felt hurried, but were rewarded for spending time trying to understand the magnitude of the losses and the depth of emotional responses from the countries that were honoring their dead. This is a review by my sister, with whom I traveled.

Two couples, first time in France, Must see Normandy beaches. We book this tour because ti gave us the most CONVENIENT way to see both Normandy, small fishing villages, country side and Mont Saint Michel. The coach was nice the guide was great, we were equipped with ear buds and a receiver so as to hear the guide clearly. Her English was very good and she was really knowledgeable about all our stops. they delivered on every point they advertised, great job. Over night hotel and dinner were great, and gave us a chance to meet other guest. great night.

The only down side is time spent at each location, I realize this is a lot of distance and places, it gives you a tasted of the area, with very limited actual time. this is not the tour provider fault. The travelers desire to see so munch is such a short period. Would prefer to have cut out one stop and spent more time at each stop.
Overall GREAT VALUE TO SEE SO MUCH. glad we took it
