A fun and amazing experience in Paris. We arrived at 9:00am to enjoy coffee and croissants with our fellow attendees before heading out to the Monge Market with Chef Frederick. There we selected all the fresh ingredients for the day’s meal, which is a different experience for us Americans accustomed to food shopping in covered markets. Once back in the kitchen we were given our assignments under the tutelage of Chef Frederick. No Hells Kitchen here, Frederick was charming, funny and engaging, but also taught us a great deal about proper French cooking. The result was a fabulous and filling mid-day meal with excellent wine that lasted until 4:00pm. Do not make dinner reservations as you will not be hungry until the next morning. Highly recommended!
