On the high end of the spectrum, if has stands offering high quality cheese, meat, seafood, veggies, assorted patisseries etc. (there is an Iranian pastry shop which is nice). We bought some fresh fruit and were able to pack from lovely picnics during our time in Paris. Farmers market boasting beautifully arranged stalls of cheese, meat, vegetables, and freshly grilled meats. Other stalls offer organic toiletries, plants, or jams. On this occasion we were treated to a fabulous 4 piece band playing jazzy tunes. Wonderful display of fresh food including fruit, vegetables, cheese & fish as well as some quality clothing. Obviously patronised by the locals as there were very few tourists around.
