This is the one and only wine course I have ever done but with good reason - the idea of being told what I should smell or taste has always seemed pointless to me but this course is REALLY about wine. You are not told what you should think but rather, you are asked - what do you think? The other difference is that, these are organic wines - REAL WINE! You will never look at a bottle of wine in the same way again. Hervé was funny, knowledgeable and the whole session was incredibly informative. Mille merci Hervé.

Superior cocktails, super friendly staff, great atmosphere. My wife and I were randomly nearby looking for a drink when we stumbled across this place. So glad we did, a cocktail I will never forget. They put extreme care and effort into making their cocktails, true cocktail craftsmanship.

One of the better options on this street. Expensive, like the others, but good quality. I've had business lunches here, but have sometimes struggled with the noise levels.

So nice we visited twice (in three days). This is a lovely chilled place for a glass of wine, they have small plates too and loads of fun wine posters. A glass is around €7-€9. The olives are huge! We loved it and would recommend :)

Big line even in the cold weather, so do the tour and bypass the line. It's great having someone explain what you are seeing and it being the truth.

We stopped by to buy a bottle of champagne for a meeting with colleagues. It was early (5 PM )so the only people there were the owner and a friend; they were enjoying a glass of wine and a plate of charcuterie before the evening rush. My colleague ended up getting into a long and fascinating conversation about wine with the owner; he talked us into buying a bottle of natural sparkling wine instead, which turned out to be delicious and far less expensive. His good cheer and great advice made our evening! Next time I'm in Paris I will definitely return and stay to eat and drink with the locals.

We had a wine tasting on a Saturday afternoon that ended up being two of the most fun, interesting and informative hours of our entire visit to Paris. Maxime was an excellent host, an endless well of knowledge about the wines we were sipping alongside a tray of charcuterie, and we couldn't help but order a case of a few of the delicious wines we sampled to send back home. Can't recommend highly enough!

My wife and I had bout a two-day Museum Pass which allowed us unlimited access to 15+ museums in Paris. On our second day we found ourselves in the vicinity of the Rodin museum. We hadn't really planned to visit it but it was free with the pass so we popped in to check it out. The outdoor part of the museum is a large sculpture garden and this restaurant is on one of the main gravel walking paths. They serve quick lunch bites like sandwiches and salads, but we thought it was great. The food was fresh and you can eat at shaded tables outside. You are literally in the middle of Paris but it is quiet and scenic and a great secluded place to eat. It was an August weekday around lunchtime and it was not crowded at all - only 4 or 5 of the 10 tables were taken. Even if the tables were full you could carry your meal to a nearby bench and enjoy a view of the sculptures or the gardens as you dined.
