It is a square with some bars and restaurant, from where you can see probably the best views of the castle. So, I recommend you come here, sot and enjoy with these views before you visit the castle. Also, it is a place, where children can play befor.e and after the visit. Very nice.

You have several displays and explanations about the Loire Valley, its geological eras, its fauna and flora and its animals. The video you can watch before visiting the museum is very interesting and shows how varied this region is. There are a few hands-on activities for children and when we visited, there were a few families with children who were having a good time.
