Really nice staff and very decent coffee. Will revisit next time when there is an exhibition. - George20 contributionsGood local cinema. The cinema is modern and clean but probably due to there bad record with cleanliness. The food and snacks are very expensive however ticket prices are cheap so it kinda cancels out. Seats are good and comfortable. Obviously they can only show one film at a time as there's only one screen/wall so might have to wait a while for a film we want to see to be showing.
All in all was pleasantly surprised. We were in the front row, not sure if the view would have been as good from the second row.
You tune your car radio in to listen to the film which then uses your car battery - this led to people turning their car engines on and off throughout the film. The noise wasn't too disruptive but it meant lights flashing on and off.

I travel across town to visit it, due to ease of access and easy parking.There are good food outlets next door for " before or after" meals.

When this place opened it was at least busy on weekends. Now it's quiet even then. Folk have less money = less folk out for the night = less atmosphere = less folk out = less atmos...... Also, when smokers need to go outside, it's quite a walk. The roof is W-A-Y above you but legally, its still "indoors".

We were allocated a lane immediately on arrival and everything was set up ready to play. There were no issues when playing bowling and we really enjoyed it. The bar staff were quick with the drinks orders and they often walked around taking away empty cups and cleaning the table surfaces. There are also plastic dividers up between each bowling alley making it covid secure. The bowling area was kept clean and the only downfall were the toilets. Unfortunately the toilets were not as clean as they should be and could do with more regular inspections. - WingInIt8120 contributionsHuge multiplex cinema hidden inside Printworks in the city centre. Split on multiple floors with various food counters. Screen 18 is one of the biggest screens in Europe, in fact bigger than some IMAXs. However, it isn't classed as an IMAX as this cinema has an even bigger screen with the official IMAX (laser projected). I believe it's the 2nd largest IMAX in Europe only topped by the London BFI ever so slightly.
One of the reasons I usually pick the IMAX to watch films is the impressive sound! If you look up in the back corners, there's a couple of speakers the size of a car! Prices are very reasonable for a city centre cinema.
As there are 20 auditoriums there's plenty of choice of films. IMAX can sell out quickly for the big blockbusters. If you're not fussed about IMAX then other screens that are large (in size order) - Scr 18, 13, 17, 12, 11, 8, 2, 14.
