Kiftsgate Court Gardens
#2 of 5 Nature & Parks in Chipping Campden
As the day was exceptionally hot we enjoyed an ice cream in the car park before entering and there was a tea and coffee wagon doing the usual light bites next to a marquee a very cool option and much needed.
Hidcote was very busy (with queues to park) so we decided to visit this little gem instead, it was a great decision!

Cotswold Falconry Centre Moreton-in-Marsh 2.6 mi away
#1 of 6 Nature & Parks in Moreton-in-Marsh
I guess we're just nature/animal people, because we toured all of the recommended places in the Cotswolds (castles, churches, villages) and our favorite stop was the Falconry Centre.
Granted, it was early season /late April so fairly light traffic so my wife & I enjoyed the pleasant journey through the lovely surrounding greenery arriving at the well signposted country park.
Dover's Hill

Great views and walks, free car park, quiet, woods if it get too and you can see for miles.
There is of course a car park near the stone marking Dover´s Hill; but one should take every opportunity to take a walk on the cotswolds way.

Even though it’s still school holiday time, it wasn’t very busy which gave us ample time and space to wander around looking at the beautiful planting and the tree park on the other side of the road.
There is a large grass car park across the road which is directly opposite the entrance in the large Tithe Barn where there is an attractive cafe and large gift shop.

Bit of a walk from the car park to the house and gardens, but golf buggy rides are available for those with limited mobility - but be aware that the garden is on different levels.
