It’s a huge and lovely campus and there is this unexplored path from campus to city centre which is a 5km walk/cycle along with the river and it is just beautiful.
The campus is relaxing and elegant, pleasant to walk around and has a superb concert hall in which excellent stage performances are given.

Saint Mary’s Cathedral (founded in 1168 A.D.) in the oldest part of Limerick and the oldest building in Limerick in continuous daily use - is a beautiful church with exquisite stained glass work throughout.
Museum of the moon is now over but St Mary's Cathedral is still worth a visit if you've a half hour to spare...and then walk down to the the Ferris wheel at the back of Arthur's Quay!
