It’s a huge and lovely campus and there is this unexplored path from campus to city centre which is a 5km walk/cycle along with the river and it is just beautiful.
The campus is relaxing and elegant, pleasant to walk around and has a superb concert hall in which excellent stage performances are given.

Recently did the full museum visit and remembered how marvellous it is to have such a collection in Limerick The exhibitions are well worth a visit and this time it is amazing.
It's a very eclectic collection that stretches from Stone Age artefacts (very high quality flints and axes to name but a few) to the work of modern Irish artists.

Great chocolate shop inside - Wild Irish Chocolates - & donut shop - Funky Donut Co, as well as lots of other fresh food & a really cool vintage shop & vintage bookseller on the outside.
Tons of authentic Irish vendors and farmers with handmade crafts to fresh eggs and cheeses to homegrown flowers and veggies and everything in between.

You can admire the architecture and marvel that it is still standing, the religious history, connection to the cities history, the centuries of burials, or the beauty of the stained glass.
Museum of the moon is now over but St Mary's Cathedral is still worth a visit if you've a half hour to spare...and then walk down to the the Ferris wheel at the back of Arthur's Quay!

Well worth a visit if you enjoy a beautiful location whilst learning about the fascinating history of a site that has had human occupation for thousands of years.
You can walk through it in a couple of hours, but it deserves more time because it also has a small museum with much more detail and artifacts.

A garden so full of interest and such a variety of trees and plants I was spell bound especially as I had the good fortune to have private tour by Tim, such enthusiasm and knowledge.
... setting the variety, perfumes, and layouts are a credit to the charming owners who have dedicated their lives to bring immense pleasure to their visitors, and the small entry charge is for a very worthy cause.
