What travelers are saying
- nick wLondon, UK994 contributionsThere are a selection of well-marked walks to choose from all of which start at the visitor centre. Some are super quick and easy and some (the red one) are a bit more strenuous. All are looped walks that start and end at the centre or connect to each other.
We did the blue and red walks which are a combined 6.7km in length with about 400m in elevation. The paths are well marked and maintained although towards the summit area of the red route it is steep in places. However, most moderately fit people should be ok to complete. There are great views to be had on the way up and from the summit.
The cafe at the visitor centre closes at 5pm and does food and drinks. There is also a useful supermarket selling a good range of foodstuffs about a 15 min walk from the visitor centre if you find the latter is closed (turn right when exiting the sideroad for the visitor centre, the supermarket is up the hill on the left).Written June 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Madison B1 contributionAlan and Nathan were the best! Alan is a very knowledgeable about the areas/history and a very safe driver. Managed time well and provided opportunities to stop and get out for sightseeing. Funny, entertaining and played some Irish music! Would highly recommend for those wanting to sight-see the Cliffs of Moher and snag a few other pictures along the way.Written July 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- janicepkAnnapolis, MD993 contributionsAlthough we did not stay late, this area was crowded and lively even in the early evening. Resturants were crowded so we moved 9ver 2 blocks and easily found eateries.Written July 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- John O5 contributionsGenerally this is a nice walk if you are lucky with the weather. Unfortunately i got caught over at Rinville house when a torrential downpour started, Dress appropriately or have an umbrella. Its a great bayside amenityWritten April 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Marius POslo, Norway1,649 contributionsFirst part of the museum covers the culture on the islands, then a exhibit on gaelic culture and art. And also a very great exhibit on the troubles and fighting.
I found the part about the fightings to be the best part of the museum.Written June 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - roveririshPitman, NJ242 contributionsThis was One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland in the Galway area! - Marcia S8 contributionsBeautiful beaches, very windy day, the ocean waves were white capped from a storm off in the Atlantic. But so enjoyable to walk the beaches, staring off into the ocean and there were some people enjoying the ocean waves!Written June 15, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
