There are a selection of well-marked walks to choose from all of which start at the visitor centre. Some are super quick and easy and some (the red one) are a bit more strenuous. All are looped walks that start and end at the centre or connect to each other.

We did the blue and red walks which are a combined 6.7km in length with about 400m in elevation. The paths are well marked and maintained although towards the summit area of the red route it is steep in places. However, most moderately fit people should be ok to complete. There are great views to be had on the way up and from the summit.

The cafe at the visitor centre closes at 5pm and does food and drinks. There is also a useful supermarket selling a good range of foodstuffs about a 15 min walk from the visitor centre if you find the latter is closed (turn right when exiting the sideroad for the visitor centre, the supermarket is up the hill on the left).

Alan and Nathan were the best! Alan is a very knowledgeable about the areas/history and a very safe driver. Managed time well and provided opportunities to stop and get out for sightseeing. Funny, entertaining and played some Irish music! Would highly recommend for those wanting to sight-see the Cliffs of Moher and snag a few other pictures along the way.

Although we did not stay late, this area was crowded and lively even in the early evening. Resturants were crowded so we moved 9ver 2 blocks and easily found eateries.

I spent a night in Inisheer and I reached the island with this ferry + bus from Galway
    My experience was amazing!
The ferries are modern and really comfortable and the crew is extremely kind and professional
The bus service from Galway is extremely useful!
I work on Italian ferries and, trust me, the quality of this service is definitely high!
I'm planning my next trip and I'll book again with this company, this is sure!

Generally this is a nice walk if you are lucky with the weather. Unfortunately i got caught over at Rinville house when a torrential downpour started, Dress appropriately or have an umbrella. Its a great bayside amenity

First part of the museum covers the culture on the islands, then a exhibit on gaelic culture and art. And also a very great exhibit on the troubles and fighting.

I found the part about the fightings to be the best part of the museum.

This was One of the highlights of our trip to Ireland in the Galway area! The hosts were extremely friendly and treated us as a family. We were able to make scones and then enjoy them with a warm cup of tea. The working farm put on a display showing how the dog works to rein in the sheep. Put it on your of places to visit.

This was a really fun experience. My wife and I went twice. Once in the morning and later for lunch. In the morning we had a delicious donut. For lunch it was a fantastic crepe. Highly recommend it.

Beautiful beaches, very windy day, the ocean waves were white capped from a storm off in the Atlantic. But so enjoyable to walk the beaches, staring off into the ocean and there were some people enjoying the ocean waves!

Heard about this castle on Instagram. A bit hard to locate....just keep walking!
Worth the visit to see the ruins. Nice water view from the site with rowers passing by.
