A nice walk around 2.5 km from the boat and we reached this wonderful place.

Bring refreshments and a picnic as there’s plenty of stones en route up the hill to make a stop and enjoy the fantastic views over Connemara.
This loop walk starts at a visitors center where there is a play area for smaller kids , however the loop I walked right to the top with my 11yo Daughter so its strenuous but achievable .

At end of the roadway you have to leave your bike near a gate and then walk best part of 1km to get to Worm Hole You walk across limestone rock and follow the red arrows which are painted on the rocks.

There is so much going on in Galway and the Latin Quarter was so fun to walk around, enjoy the musicians and other performers on the streets and get a bite to eat in anyone of the great restaurants here.

... very busy on a nice day and you do have many children, dogs, bicyclists and roller skaters to share with, bu it is a lovely walk with plenty of places to rest, breathe in that sea air and watch the world go by.
