- tanglewoodfox13 contributionsGreat links course just 30 minutes from city Centre. Great golf course, good staff awesome views. Very laid back despite the “Royal” label.Written October 25, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Frank G10 contributionsFrom the first enquiry with Paulina, to the end of our special celebration, we received outstanding service from each member of staff. Tremendous attention to detail with a high level of professionalism, flexibility and commitment to excellence. Nothing was too much trouble. The Millennium Suite with bar/reception area was ideal and looked amazing.
We had an evening reception followed by dinner and musical entertainment provided by the superb hardworking Desert Storm band (separate booking) who got everyone singing. Impeccable attentive service, superb food, great ambiance..there were about 60 friends/family. Fantastic feedback from everyone.
Overall a memorable occasion which merits the highest rating. Thanks to Paulina, Shane, Oxana and William for your kindness and help.Written November 13, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The clubhouse has a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. The view you have is over looking one of the greens and im sure if the weather was alot nicer, we could of sat outside.
Seating area is very basic but all in all very good for a Golf Club. It was recommended by a friend and it was a great choice for sunday grub.Written October 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Locker room clean.
A great course to play, well recommended.

Otherwise a very nice course in a unique setting.Written April 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jacqueline RDublin, Ireland419 contributionsThis was my first visit to this golf course and it certainly didn't let me down. I must say it was absolutely beautiful. Greens, fairways and bunkers were all very well groomed. No 2 holes were the same. Some little sneaky water on some holes only if you didn't know it was there. Folks well worth a visit. Must better than any of the courses near it. Club house a bit old worldy but staff and food was top class. Definitely put on your society list or a must play course in dublin list. You certainly won't be disappointed. .. Can't wait to go back for a game...Written July 26, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JoeFrancisIreland277 contributionsElmgreen is a municipal golf course just off the junction of the M3 and M50 motorways in west Dublin. The welcome is always good and despite heavy traffic, the course is always well maintained, It tends to be open when other parkland courses succumb to frost or rain. The reason is good drainage, helped by being on the side of a hill. This, however, results in 5 holes that involve a climb, so a buggy is recommended for older, or less mobile golfers. Booking is essential.Written July 23, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Dennis D1 contributionI recently returned from an Ireland golf trip organized completely by Eoin at Curran Golf Travel. The trip could not have gone any better! Eoin organized the trip for 12 from my golf club for 8 rounds of golf primarily in the northwest. Everything went like clockwork from the time we all arrived in Dublin until 10 days later when we left for home. Eoin is very, very organized and every detail is attended to. He knows the courses, the hotels, the drivers, and every other aspect that goes into a great experience on a golf trip. Basically, he can help with anything to help make the trip more enjoyable. As an example, I was continuing on for more travel in Europe after golf and I left it up to Eoin to ship my golfclubs home, which he did efficiently and effectively. I highly, highly recommend Eoin and Curran Golf Travel for your next golf trip. You will not regret it in the least! - Katerina K16 contributionsOur driver/host (Desmond) made our two day tour around Dublin, Galway, cliffs of Moher, Kilkenny and other towns memorable. He has deep knowledge of the area and was very easy to follow. He was always on time at our appointments. Full of suggestions of restaurants and POIs to visit. The bus was clean and very comfy. We surely recommend their service and definitely ask for Desmond or o clone of him if they have any.Written March 14, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
