My girlfriend and I went on this trip, and we would recommend it to everyone who’s planning a visit to Dublin. Our guide, Harry, was a friendly and happy man whom knows a lot about all the locations and sights we stop and pass through. His sense of humor was also a nice extra during the early morning. This trip, in combination with this guide, gave us information about (north) Ireland which we would have never known if we were to stay in Dublin. Even though we were in Dublin for only 3 days, it is totally worth to spend the day on this trip. The coasts are magnificent, Belfast has it charms and we’ve stopped at smaller miscellaneous spots along the way. We would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Ireland, especially with this amazing guide! Would go again!

Wonderful tour given by Harry. He was extremely knowledgeable and very sweet. The coach was nice and small, almost feeling like a private tour. The locations we visited were beautiful and full of history and local charm. A great day.

Shane was fantastic. There was a great mix of adventure and history for us. Shane was very knowledgeable about the local history, and the natural environment we hiked through. If you have seen the traditional Ireland tourist spots from the car or getting off a tour bus, this is a perfect complement to that - getting off the beaten path to experience some amazing views and some local history. We took this tour on the 5th day of our trip and was probably the favorite activity in our whole Ireland trip for 1/2 our party and a close second for the other 1/2. There is something for everyone. Would HIGHLY recommend.

1st time visit to Glendalough after hearing so many amazing things by friends who have visited on numerous occasions...wow,seeing is belivieng just how beautiful the scenary just is
Myself and my good friend Bridie decided on ascending via the white route which is an absolute challenge physically and mentally but totally worth the effort once you have reached the highest point.
A brief water break at miners way walk followed by another brief stop at what im reliably informed is cockwatch ridge..spectacular vista and a sense of being in another world.
My 1st visit but definately not my last.

If you’re on the fence on whether or not to book this tour, you need to book this tour. It was incredible.

This was our second tour with Railtours and it did not disappoint. John, our tour guide from Railtours, was always making sure everybody was ok from the beginning of the tour until the end, even ensuring people would get back safely to their hotels.
The bus ride along the coast has stunning views and we got to see the Scotland shore. Troy, our bus driver, made the entire trip informative and funny.
Crossing the rope bridge if fun, though not for the faint of heart. The Giant's Causeway if definitely a master piece from nature.
We also got a glimpse of Belfast and the big cranes.
You may feel rushed at times, but considering all the terrain covered and the ample time you get at the attractions, it is worth it.

I booked the two day tour for my wife and I. The sites are great at the Cliffs of Moher and Ring of Kerry. There are also a lot of beautiful sites along the way. The tour company takes you to see their friends to eat and for the B&B which neither are great. The lunch is not that good and was very over priced. That being said the tour experience you get will greatly depend on the driver. Ours was nice but wasn’t that interested in giving us much history on the sites. He seemed more interested in the Galic football he watched on his phone as he drove us back. We met some great people and it is definitely worth going.

Great experience with Ben Chambers (Bernard). We had some personal ancestry related things to see that we sprung on him last minute and Ben took it in stride, did a great job helping us find the correct locations, and still showed us a great amount of the tour with our remaining time.

We had a group of 5 and had a nice large new Mercedes van. Very comfortable, professional, customizable, and was very fun.

Thank you for the great experience!

Eamon was wonderful. He was willing to pick us up at our hotel and take us to the train station. We had a wonderful day hiking with him and seeing beautiful Howth. He knows so much about history and origins of names and everything Irish. He made every moment come alive. Great day so don’t miss out and take Eamon on your next adventure.

First time out of the country. I couldn't ask for a better place to start. The Irish people were friendly and engaging.
Our Vagabond Company tour, in a 16 person passenger van, was the right size and we went to great places. Importantly, we stayed moving - plenty to do and see and for most of the trip, the time at each place was properly calculated.
I can't say enough about our guides - including Pat - whose knowledge of history and location was encyclopedic.

Wow! Our tours with Val at Liberty Irish tours were the highlight of our vacation. Our two couple party booked two tours with Val. The first with just the wives,( husbands were golfing) where we toured the beautiful country side on the outskirts of Dublin. On our 2nd tour with our husbands was a day trip to the unbelievably beautiful cliffs of Moher, with equally as beautiful stops along the way.
I can not say enough wonderful things about Val! He was as excited about seeing the sights as we were, even though he has seen it all 100s of times. His excitement was contagious! He even sang us a few Irish tunes. We learned so much about the history, culture of the area and a little of the Irish language. We feel like we have made a friend for life.
Booking with James at Liberty was easy as he guided us in selecting the perfect tours.
Do yourself a favor and book a tour with Liberty Irish tours, you want be sorry!

My favorite part of this trip was seeing so much of the country with a private tour guide! We learned so much and were able to see so much of the country with no stress! Sean and his group were so professional and everyone we met was so very friendly. This was one of my favorite vacations of all time!

History. Culture. Nature. These were what I expected and got fulfilled. And much more. Ben is an excellent storyteller, rich with historical & political perspective. The hike itself was a good work out but not too challenging. In other words, a wonderful and enjoyable experience. I will do any other hike with Ben again when I am going to Dublin next time.

Our guide was Gillian, a local to the area and full Irish blood as well! Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the area and history. The walk started in Killiney and we walked near and along the coastline the majority of the trek. We saw everything from beautiful homes to the many incredible local hangouts along the beach, not to mention we had probably the best ice cream we've ever tasted! Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Ireland this summer and we absolutely recommend it to everyone.
