Well worth the visit, booked it online which was simple. Downloaded the trinity app and listened to the audio tour as we went along.

I thought I knew this part of Dublin well but how wrong I was! Our excellent guide Phelim packed in the stories and insights during this entertaining walking tour from Richmond Barracks to Kilmainham Gaol. A major focus was the many interesting characters who are associated with the area. Highly recommended.

We arrived as the library opened so we were the only patrons. The had that old book smell and was very quiet. We were able to read about the history of the library without feeling rushed. Staff gave us a great introduction to the library when we arrived. After leaving the library you exit through a flower filled garden great for photos.

We travelled from Galway to visit the Visitors Centre, Custom House and it was well worth the effort. So often I had passed this magnificent building and now I was able to visit. Tha staff were incredibly, so helpful, well-informedand very pleasant.
Its a beautiful building and restored to perfection. It oozes history, literally from the walls.

This is a really great addition to the skyline and to Dublin overall as an entertainment and conference centre. Excellent design and great at night.

My mom and I had an amazing and insightful session with Patrick at the Irish Family History Centre. The family information and history he was able to access blew us away and filled our hearts with joy! Because of our time with Patrick, we were able to confirm years and years of research but even more so, uncover information we never knew. We will use this information when we return to Ireland and visit our family's farm.

Patrick is the ultimate investigator in genealogy. Watching him work was thrilling -- he does not give up and was just as excited by the discoveries as we were! I highly recommend a visit to the centre if you have any interest in learning more about your Irish roots.

I happened across this small exhibition centre a few years ago. It houses the National Archive of Irish photographs, which if you are interested can be viewed by appointment ( if you want to research a particular place or topic for example). However, it has an exhibition area in which a selected series of over-sized photos are displayed with a connecting theme, and accompanying explanations and wall text. It changes these exhibitions every few months. As it it near to Temple Bar, in Meeting House Square, it is easy to get to, and it's free of charge. It doesn't take too long to go round the exhibition, but it gives insight to the given topic, and so a little more background to "Irishness". Ideal if you only have a half hour or so, but want a bit more than just the usual tourist trap. You might be pleasantly surprised!

First time I have ever payed to sit in one of these lounges. Would highly recommend it. We arrived in time for breakfast which was sausage, scrambled egg and Irish wheaten bread.
There was also cereals, yougurts, juice and porridge.
They lunch arrive which was meat balls and pasta. A selection of salad and a cheese board.
They have a bar with a limited list of cocktails. There is also a couple of fridges filled with coke, Diet Coke, Fanta and 7up.
Definitely well worth spending the extra to get this especially if you have wee ones.

As title says when I visited here to get information on all I could about tours, guides, where to visit etc in this lovely city they were very helpful and informative about where I should go, how to get there and what to do once there. I did know a few things as looked at the good old internet before I went but was lovely to get more information from local people.

Great walk 'n talk tour of Dublin's fascinating Dockland area by this company. Tour guide (Joseph) very friendly and an absolute mine of information - he went from history, engineering, geography, to leprosy and stories about the people who shaped this part of Dublin. All very interesting and great value for money - nearly 2 hours of non-stop talking!
