- Lisamarie LMadison, WI954 contributionsI was in Dublin for work, and I really enjoyed the chance I had each evening to stroll along the river and explore the city - it was a good anchoring landmark. There are several bridges for crossing, all with their own character. I loved listening to the gulls as walked along. Great day. Went from Dublin quays to Dun Laoghaire and then on to Howth.
Pat (tour guide) was very knowledgable and entertaining.

Very quiet spot and a real hidden gem.Used to be a reservoir for the north of the city and now a park. When i was there it was quiet with two park wardens walking around. It did not feel unsafe. There is a nice walk to the Grand Canal if exit at the rear of the park and turn right and walk through that park. If you turn left there is a kids playground. There is an interesting mix of houses in the area .
