Really fantastic collection with a heavy focus on woodprints, scripts and artworks of different civilisations. Plus free entry, added bonus!

Alot of interesting things to see there. Learned alot about Ireland that I did not know. It is a very informative museum in Dublin. Recommend going, I will even return on my next visit back to Ireland.

We bought tickets online (easy) a few days in advance for the Andy Warhol exhibit on display in late 2023.

It was a nice show with a large collection of the artist's work across his career, ranging from painting to video work. Commentary accompanying the art was informative without being overwhelming. Exhibit flow made sense.

There were also a few galleries from the permanent collection, with some nice works.

    Staff were helpful.

Worth a morning while in the city!

Came here on June 15/23, I wanted to see what this place was about, the artist at this time was Sarah Pierce and the name of her art exhibit was called Scene of the Myth.

The items involved in this type of exhibit include a big set of statues of partially clothed roman men, makeshift beds, clay type pottery, chairs, fabric sheets, and other things.

This type of art is not my favorite but every once in a while I will look to see what it is about.

There was another building closer to the front of the large property that has pictures and such of American music artists, this area was not bad.

This place is free and is included with the Big Bus HOHO Dublin pass but I will not be coming back to this place when I ever come back to Dublin.

3 of 5 for an interesting place
3 of 5 for nice décor
4 of 5 for awesome architecture
2.75 of 5 overall for everything

We visited The Icon Walk with our tour guide Patrick during his 4-hour called “Dublins best kept secrets”. It is a community of artists who have transformed back roads into a living art project. Lots of dedicated artists make the Icon Factory to a fun place to visit, buy pieces of art or some unique souvenirs to support this project. Take some time to have a chat with e.g. Anthony about art, Dublin and the world. You will not regret it.
The Icon Factory is under threat because the landlord wants to use the space for a restaurant and the artists have not yet found a new space. I really do not understand why the city does not support and promote such a great place!

Good stuff. Very thought provoking. And Free. Maybe an hour at the most.
It’s as much a gallery and museum as it is an educational center.
Main exhibition was from Lorraine Tuck

I am a huge gallery enthusiast, so when I found this gallery I was truly stunned. There is a lovely selection of fine art. When looking at the paintings the owner of the gallery came up to me and gave me information about everything I was interested in so it was very pleasant.

Small little place but some nice bits & pieces on. Recently went to German movie night & later an exhibit on Love Letters. Staff were lovely. Keep an eye on this place.
