What a great tour, the man that took us round ( sorry forgotten his name ) was very informative and amusing. The tasting was great with good sized measures of Whiskey and a drink at the end.
Would recommend, do it its brilliant.

Anne was an excellent tour guide with lots of fun and interesting information about the history of Dublin and the items on display. We could have easily spent longer looking round the museum after the talk but we had another museum pre-booked.

Really interesting place, you get a guided tour round and it’s really informative, the only downside is sometimes it’s a bit rushed and you don’t get to have a proper look around. Some parts are closed off because they are still doing them up but I’m nosey so I wanted be able to wonder round but you can’t.

The tour you have to do yourselves at the moment but don't let that put you off. Plenty of things to see and read. Go for your free drink in the up stairs bar ( recommend the lift ) the views are amazing, Good value for money.

Went to check out this quirky place while exploring Temple Bar in Dublin. They have everything from Phil Lynott’s report card to a pair of Michael Jackson’s pj’s. Our guide, Alan, was funny, very knowledgeable and made everyone feel like his new best friend. Thanks for introducing me to so much more Irish Rock N Roll than the Cranberries and U2 ( not that there’s anything wrong with those guys! )

My parents were visiting from Australia and we decided to do the tour as we’re all big sports fans. The tour was very interesting as we didn’t know much about GAA sports or Croke Park, and we walked away near experts! But it was our lovely guide Annette that made the day brilliant! She was extremely welcoming and warm, was more than happy to answer any questions anyone had, and was very knowledgeable and informing. She is a lovely lady and if you’re lucky enough to get her as your guide you won’t be disappointed!

The GAA museum is also fascinating and I would highly recommend visiting after the tour. There’s a huge amount to see including exhibits from Bloody Sunday.

All in all it is a must see when visiting Dublin.

I visited in 2016 knowing very little about the 1916 Easter Uprising so my first visit was more of a rushed overview. I’m here six years later and have seen more of the sites and learned more about the issues. I found the overall presentation to be very helpful in putting everything in perspective and helping me remember the key dates, issues, and people involved. It has made visiting other sites in Dublin and throughout Ireland much more enjoyable and interesting because I can relate and understand the significance so much more. Well done. Easy location and highly recommend.

I thought I knew this part of Dublin well but how wrong I was! Our excellent guide Phelim packed in the stories and insights during this entertaining walking tour from Richmond Barracks to Kilmainham Gaol. A major focus was the many interesting characters who are associated with the area. Highly recommended.

When planning our trip to Dublin, I wanted to make sure there was something for everyone in our family and knew this would be a hit with my American sixth-grader who has been learning about early civilizations and archaeology. Dublinia didn't disappoint.

We were pleased with the staff who offered hands-on experiences for visitors and lots of information. The exhibits were well done and shared interesting information. We enjoyed the finale with a walk up the tower - a nice cap to the medieval portion of the tour.

I appreciated that the museum tackled "daily life" in all forms - from eating to markets to travels. We will never forget the sounds of the "seated man." LOL!

Excellent place to spend a different day with fun and entertaining at the heart of Dublin.
Very It was very fun and the museum have a gentle staff.
We have a very nice time in there.

It's also interesting to learn some things about Irish history while viewing the exposition if you're not Irish.

This is an excellently curated exhibition. I was very moved to hear Heaney voice as he read a selection of his own works aloud.
The context of his writing is well set out in the accompanying exhibition elements. I really enjoyed this visit. There is a selection of his poetry books available in the foyer, a great source of gift ideas.

The tour starts with a discussion of leprechauns and how they differ from the little men in green suits we are used to seeing. The remainder of the tour took us through various rooms and told stories about their mythology and legends. Frankly, I was a little confused at times since I was not familiar with the names of the creatures or the places they went. Convenient location. I would recommend if in the area.
