What a great tour, the man that took us round ( sorry forgotten his name ) was very informative and amusing. The tasting was great with good sized measures of Whiskey and a drink at the end.

Located in Central Dublin, in the historic Georgian area, this little treasure is a must see. The people of Dublin have contributed the items on display, and consequently the range and authenticity of the donations gives a delightful and comprehensive insight into the real Ireland.
MARK was a superlative guide, witty, informative and professional. Hope you enjoy Cork Mark😀.
The entire staff were welcoming and helpful.
Just one item for information-the gift shop does not take cash.
Definition recommend for tourists and locals alike.

Excellent! You MUST book tour ahead of time, don’t be disheartened if there aren’t tickets available initially. We kept checking and tickets were released as people cancelled. Tour was excellent, great way to get a interesting history of Ireland. Our guide Emma was excellent, answered lots of questions and explained things really well. Great value for money too. One of my favourite things I’ve done in Dublin.

If you like beer, you'll love this place. We did a tour, poured our own beers and ate at one of the restaurants. We had a great time. The only negative thing I have to say is that it was very crowded and Covid is still too fresh in our minds to be too comfortable in these situations.

Went to check out this quirky place while exploring Temple Bar in Dublin. They have everything from Phil Lynott’s report card to a pair of Michael Jackson’s pj’s. Our guide, Alan, was funny, very knowledgeable and made everyone feel like his new best friend. Thanks for introducing me to so much more Irish Rock N Roll than the Cranberries and U2 ( not that there’s anything wrong with those guys! )

This tour was really organized well with a combination of talking and videos as we walked through a Georgian era Manor built for one wealthy family converted into 17 apartments. Our guide sometimes repeated things from video but that just emphasized how long these tenements were in existence (all the way through the 1970s). I really appreciated that the stories told were not all depressing but rather highlighted the injustices while also relating happier experiences of some people who lived there. I really could visually envision the conditions (although I can’t say I can understand what they must have suffered). Fantastic and highly recommended.

Friend and I were told by a random guy on a bike to check this out today, so we did. What a wonderful little museum - if you like Arabic and Middle Eastern art. Beautiful, quiet, gorgeous art beautifully displayed. And the courtyard outside is just wonderful.

My parents were visiting from Australia and we decided to do the tour as we’re all big sports fans. The tour was very interesting as we didn’t know much about GAA sports or Croke Park, and we walked away near experts! But it was our lovely guide Annette that made the day brilliant! She was extremely welcoming and warm, was more than happy to answer any questions anyone had, and was very knowledgeable and informing. She is a lovely lady and if you’re lucky enough to get her as your guide you won’t be disappointed!

The GAA museum is also fascinating and I would highly recommend visiting after the tour. There’s a huge amount to see including exhibits from Bloody Sunday.

All in all it is a must see when visiting Dublin.

Done the tour of the Jeanie Johnston with some friends and it was fantastic
It’s a great way of learning about the plight of the Irish people during the great famine in the 19th century. Our guide for the tour was Gearoid, he was excellent and very knowledgeable

I visited in 2016 knowing very little about the 1916 Easter Uprising so my first visit was more of a rushed overview. I’m here six years later and have seen more of the sites and learned more about the issues. I found the overall presentation to be very helpful in putting everything in perspective and helping me remember the key dates, issues, and people involved. It has made visiting other sites in Dublin and throughout Ireland much more enjoyable and interesting because I can relate and understand the significance so much more. Well done. Easy location and highly recommend.

I thought I knew this part of Dublin well but how wrong I was! Our excellent guide Phelim packed in the stories and insights during this entertaining walking tour from Richmond Barracks to Kilmainham Gaol. A major focus was the many interesting characters who are associated with the area. Highly recommended.
